I entered these cookies in a baking contest and won 3rd place. It was maybe just for a small gathering of about 100 people, but they were a hit. I made them because they are my husbands favorite and his first words as a baby were “cookie” so he is an excellent judge.
We make these cookies all sorts of ways. But the favorite is with white chocolate chips, cranberries and nuts! But my kids like them just with semi-sweet chocolate chips!

I love these cookies I tweek them a little and put dried blueberries and pecans with a mixture of milk and dark chocolate. I have a question, are they supposed to be soft cookies? Mine always turn out hard. I try not to over stir cause I know that can make then hard… Any suggestions? 🙂

Oh that sounds so yummy!
Mine aren't hard…and actually I heard the opposite. I beat the butter and sugar for awhile to get it fluffy….don't know if that is it?
