We are in the market for a new washer and dryer! Picking a washer and dryer can be a lot of pressure, anyone else?! Kevin was like, wow, you are really spending a lot of time on this! When we moved we left our washer and dryers with the home, didn't make sense to pay to have them moved, even tho we did like them! Since we are remodeling our home, I am also looking for Laundry Room Ideas. We are actually going to do a washer and dryer on each floor of our new home. The second floor we will do a stacking washer and dryer (for the girls), in our bedroom we will have a side by side, and in the ... Read More
Our Thrive Market Favorites- Paleo Snacks
We have had a membership with Thrive Market on and off since they started in 2014. I originally got a membership when I started a Paleo Challenge with my CrossFit gym. I was looking for Paleo snacks and foods that were easy to buy and find, I like how Thrive organizes food by diet, making shopping easy. And I like how the prices are more affordable than places like Whole Foods, I have compared items we regularly purchase. I also really like Thrive Market branded food items too! I share my orders I get often on Instagram, and several of you requested a blog post of my favorite things we order. ... Read More
Boys Shared Bedroom Makeover- Gray Walls
One of my best friends, Laila, has two cute boys who share a bedroom. She was looking for ideas to give it some personality. I offered to come and help her once we moved back to Utah. So here we are! When Laila and her husband were building this new home I loved that even tho they had the space, they decided to have their beds be in the same room. They have a "hang out space" right outside their bedroom that could have easily been another room. She felt having them share a room would keep them close, best friends, and it would keep them in check! So we wanted to make their shared room a space ... Read More

Storage Room turned Home Office for my Parents
My parents had a room that was not used to its full potential. Can you relate? The bedroom was basically a storage room. Since moving back to Utah I was excited to take over this room and give them an office. Both of them do a lot of work from home and it all ends up on top of the kitchen table (same story at our house) then it needs to be cleared before dinner each night. Needless to say, they needed a home office! I asked them if we could make it over and my Dad had the room cleared out the next day! Thank you The Home Depot for sponsoring this post First things first I put together ... Read More

Easy Paleo Teriyaki Noodle Bowl Recipe
My mom is one of the best cooks I know (alongside Kevin)! The other day Kevin and I made a Paleo Teriyaki Noodle Bowl. Like exactly, since she didn't have a recipe (it was just in her head). Of course I had to share it with you!!! This will be a meal you rotate weekly or monthly. It is a favorite! We made it all in one pan too, The Always Pan (I had gifted one to my mom, grandma, sisters and brother for Christmas! It makes such a good gift, especially for ... Read More
Black Exteriors- 12 Favorite Black Paints and Ours!
When we purchased this 1970's home, we knew we would paint or stain the wood on the exterior. Fast forward to this past week, picking the the color was simple, we wanted black. But WHAT black was another question. We ended up trying several different stains on the house to determine our favorite. I knew I wanted Tricorn Black on the windows, it is my go-to for a good basic black with no gray, or blue coming through. On the house color we wanted to see a slight contrast so the windows would pop. Of course I spent a lot of time searching online for homes with black exterior, and decided to share ... Read More

To catch you up…we bought a 1970's home we are remodeling to (hopefully) move into in July! Since we are at a standstill waiting for permits, we have been modernizing the rock in our home. The way we have modernized the rock was with basically with A LOT of mortar and Limewash. We already updated the rock wall in our entry. This past week Kevin did our fireplace. The fireplace went a lot faster because we knew exactly what we wanted the end result to look like and from trial and error. It still took about 20 hours to complete. Practice makes you an expert.
