I really like to know what others find important or useful with new babies or that make great gifts. Our little baby boy is two months old now and there have been products that I didn't know about with my girls and wish I had with them. These are some of my favorite baby products and what I tell all my friends that are new moms they should get! *Contains affilate links- these are all items I recommend- I receive a small commission when you order an item I link to. Your price stays the same. Finn started sleeping eight to ten hours at night when he was six weeks old. Before that he ... Read More

I am so excited to be sharing our home for Simply Summer Home Tour hosted by Nina Hendrick along with Country Living and Birch Lane. This week 29 other bloggers have been inviting us into their homes to show us some fresh summer updates. I love seeing where people live and how they make their environment comfortable and inspiring to them. If you are new to my blog, welcome! We have been working on our 1950's 1100 square foot Cape for the past year and half. We moved from Utah to Connecticut and have really been enjoying our life on the East coast, being 800 meters from the beach helps! We ... Read More
Curb Appeal DIY Details
I recently shared the update we did to the exterior of our home for a summer home tour HERE. We partnered with Lowes Home Improvement to give our home some much needed curb appeal. I really wanted to overhaul the entire thing but we weren't willing to invest that much into it. I am so amazed at what a few simple updates could do. To be honest I was worried that the changes I wanted to make wouldn't make that big of a difference. But I have to say that I was happily surprised. We have even had people walking by our home tell us they like the update. I had a friends husband say that it feels ... Read More
Summer Home Tour Exterior Reveal
Welcome to my Summer Home Tour Exterior Reveal! I joined The White Buffalo Styling Co. and a group of bloggers sharing our homes for Blogger Stylin' Home Tours. I love seeing how everyone lightens up and refreshes their homes in the Summer. I personally want to declutter and simplify everything. We have been busy updating the exterior of our home and adding some much needed curb appeal. We have lived in our 1950's Connecticut Cape for close to a year and a half now and I have been itching to get this done, but it somehow became the last thing we did. We partnered with Lowes on this project. I ... Read More
Kids Space in a Tiny House
Welcome to the Blogger Stylin' Home Tour Work & Play series! I am joining 30 other bloggers to share our view of work & play. If you are popping over from Iron & Twin, welcome! I love to see how others live, play, work and use their homes. I am thrilled to be apart of this series. We have been working on a lot of spaces in our home since adding a little baby boy nursery to our home (you can see his nursery reveal HERE). One area is our playroom, and in a tiny house we had to find a little space in our home to carve out for a play area for our kids. I am still finishing up a few ... Read More
Outdoor Living Inspiration and Progress
We have been getting our deck ready for Spring and Summer. We just started to get all of our furniture delivered from Raymour and Flanigan. My husband spent some time setting it all up, with excited girls watching. With a tiny house you really look forward to your outdoor space becoming an extension of your home. It allows us to invite friends over and not feel so stressed about where to put everyone. When we purchased our home one of the big things that sold us, and mainly my husband was the large backyard and deck. I like to gather inspiration on Pinterest. I start by pinning ... Read More
Top Tips for Buying and Selling used Furniture
When we moved from Utah to Connecticut we had to sell and giveaway A LOT of our furniture and accessories. Our new home in Connecticut is about half the size that it was in Utah, we had a lot of things we were not going to have room for. I was able to sell several pieces with the home. There were extra things that I knew had value and I would have to replace like sofa's, dining table and beds so I wanted to make some money off of them. I used to be a store buyer and manger of a store in Utah, clients would often ask how much to sell used pieces for when they were buying new things. I thought I ... Read More
Kids Space with Mint Arrow
One of my very good friends Jen, is a designer and blogger over at House Collected. She recently designed a gorgeous kids space for Corrine from Mint Arrow. Corrine blogs about the latest deals on quality product. I had to see more photos of this space and find out the details! So I asked Jen and Corrine to share the space with all of us for Everything Home Magazine for the January Issue. You can receive the online FREE issue every month right to your in-box by signing up HERE. You can also view the entire Everything Home January issue right HERE. I asked Corrine how ... Read More
Christmas Favorites of 2015
I was SO excited to see that Jen from City Farm House picked a picture from my Christmas Tour as one of her Favorite Holiday Ideas for Better Homes and Garden Style Spotters Page. She shared the above photo of my kitchen. And said this... "Ahh, antlers! My favorite use of antlers comes from Nesting With Grace. Adding it above the vintage inspired chalkboard, in the kitchen of all places, genius! You can find antlers that animals have shed while walking through a wooded area or purchase them new, either way it’s a great styling idea for the holidays." Oh I just love Jen, she is so sweet ... Girls Bedroom Tour
It is crazy to me that we have almost lived in this house for one year, time needs to slow down! When we moved in I was most excited to get my hands on my girls bedroom. They didn't share a room in our Utah home. We had to maximize every inch of this Cape Cod home. And can I just tell you how glad I am that we have them sharing a room? They sing each other to sleep and play for hours together in this space, such a blessing. I created a play area opposite their beds. They love dolls and all the little toys. I had these Ikea bins that I made a simple ... Read More
