So excited to share this bedroom makeover with you today! Do you remember The Thrifted Home that I shared in the summer? And recently THIS bedroom with the bunkbeds? Well this is a follow-up post to that bedroom, in The Thrifted Home! We swapped rooms with the two twin girls who called this their bedroom with the oldest daughter, who had the bigger bedroom. The 9 year old cutie is so thrilled with how her room turned out! It is a boho mixed modern and thrifted decor. He mom is the queen of thrifting! She had an idea of what she wanted the room to look like and then I gave ideas and direction ... Read More
Girls Shared Bedroom NEW Blue Waves Wallpaper
I am very excited to share the girls bedroom changes with you. They both love it so much and so do I! Right now this is my favorite room in our house, but ask me after the next room I update! After I finished decorating it I kept coming up here at random times just to smile! If you missed it, I shared the WHY behind the little changes on a recent blog post. Basically Ella wanted her own room and it boiled down to the fact that she wanted to decorate it with more blue and wanted an exciting change. There is no way she would want to sleep by herself. The girls really love sharing a room ... Read More
Girls Shared Bedroom REVEAL- Thrifted Decor Mixed with New
Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post Yesterday on the blog I shared the design plan for this girls shared bedroom. Well, I got it done faster than I thought I would and get to share it today with you! The home owners worked hard on painting the bedroom, setting up the bunk beds, painting the new/old dresser pink and getting the rest of their to-do list done! I went to their home yesterday and installed some wall decal's on an accent wall and finished styling it all! It turned out so much better than I thought it would! Best of all Amy, (the homeowner) gasped when she walked in! She ... Read More
Girls Shared Bedroom Plan- Thrifted Decor Mixed with New
This post is sponsored by Walmart I am very excited to be working on a new little project. A girls shared bedroom. Kids bedrooms are my favorite to style and design for. I love showing that they can be well styled and organized too, they do not have to be cluttered with toys or look cheap with cheap furniture. And the main reason I love designing kids spaces is because a child's bedroom can really effect their mood, attitude and energy. It is their safe space, or it should be their safe space. A messy bedroom can have a negative impact on kids, I have seen it. That is why I am very ... Read More
How to Keep a Kids Room Clean and Organized in a Small House
We have been enjoying the little changes we made to the girls shared bedroom in and sitting in their new hanging chair every night since we got it and reading. Such a cozy little spot. I wanted to follow up on that post. I get a lot of questions on how I keep my girls room clean and organized and where we keep it ALL in a small house. So I thought I would share our little tips on keeping our kids room clean and organized. With any house the kids stuff is not all confined to their room, so I am sharing a few spaces that actually help to keep their room organized that are not in their room. Does ... Read More
Love in the form of our new Hanging Chair
I can not even handle how much I love this chair. Who knew something like a hanging chair could make me so happy! Actually I knew. I have been wanting one ever since birth...not really but close. Funny thing is my mom saw our new hanging chair via a picture and she reminded me of the one we had growing up, the one that my sister got stitches after falling off of it. It was one that didn't hang from the ceiling, just from an arm attached to the chair and it had metal parts and was probably really not safe at all (I should find a pic of it), not like this magnificent chair we just hung from ...
