I have another EASY DIY project for you! We added a wood planks or as most refer to it as shiplap to the nursery we recently made over in two days for my sister-in-law. I personally don't think shiplap is going anywhere and love it in a small application like we used it. You could do this same shiplap look on a ceiling or the entire wall. We partnered with Lowe's to complete this project and so happy we did because we found the perfect pack of wood to use as shiplap and that was very affordable. Everything in this room and for this project can be found at Lowe's. Keep in mind you can ... Read More

Even think outside the "Toy" label I put on it and use it for a unique rolling hamper in a laundry room or really ANY space that you can think of and need custom storage for. This custom way to organize toys cost under $50 and the original version that gave me my inspiration was well over $125. A lot of you requested this tutorial from when you saw it on the nursery post and on my Instagram Stories (videos I shared on ... Read More

Nursery- Thoughts a year later- Furniture Painting Tips
It has been *almost* a year (sniff, sniff) that we have been using and enjoying our baby boy's nursery. I thought it would be fun to check back in and share things that I have changed and what has worked and what hasn't. Including painting his crib- how that has held up. When I designed Finn's nursery I selected almost everything online. I get asked often how I dared to do that. This are my tips for ordering pieces online- Look at what the product is made out of- is it a hard wood or plastic? Is the fabric a natural fiber or made of synthetic material. Read reviews! My husband teases ... Read More
Baby Boy Nursery Features
We have really been enjoying our baby boys nursery. It was so much fun to design it for him. I can remember how I felt preparing it for him, I couldn't wait to rock him to sleep or to play with him in his room. I just knew he would love sleeping in it and gazing up at the wallpaper on the ceiling. Now that he is here, one of us says daily how lucky we are to have him in our family. He is such a joy. I had to document where his room has been featured so Finn can see it one day. It could be one of those fascinating facts that he shares when he meets new people;) hehe. It was featured on ...
