This post is sponsored by Walmart I am very excited to be working on a new little project. A girls shared bedroom. Kids bedrooms are my favorite to style and design for. I love showing that they can be well styled and organized too, they do not have to be cluttered with toys or look cheap with cheap furniture. And the main reason I love designing kids spaces is because a child's bedroom can really effect their mood, attitude and energy. It is their safe space, or it should be their safe space. A messy bedroom can have a negative impact on kids, I have seen it. That is why I am very ... Read More
Girls Bedroom Changes and Twin Beds and Bunkbed Options
While we were in Utah for the summer all I heard from Ella was "can I have my own bedroom?" I mean, I am sure we talked about other things. But what really stuck out was her asking me that question. Every. Day. I want my own bedroom. I would tell her our house doesn't have a spot for you to have your own bedroom and reminded her how much she loves sharing a room with Lola. Also she sleeps so much better having her sister in the room with her. She would stop. Then start again about the bedroom. Or she would ask if we could "decorate it". Like it isn't decorated already? I ... Read More
Pantry Makeover with Wallpaper Shelves
This post is sponsored by The Home Depot One of my best friends just moved from Texas back to Utah where they are originally from. They moved back to their old home but quickly realized how much they missed their large Texas home for their family of six. So they got a slightly larger home and this new home came with an awesome walk-in pantry. But she had never had a large walk-in pantry and it was a little overwhelming. The pantry just became a catch-all because it is so large there is room to just set things wherever. Rachel asked me when I was visiting Utah to help her organize it. It was ... Read More
Entrance to the Basement- Wallpaper in unexpected places
Our little 1950's cape does have an unfinished basement that won't ever be finished due to the fact that we live in a flood zone. Or if we add onto our home we would have to fill it in. We use the basement daily because it is also our laundry room, extra pantry, supply room, tool room, playroom (has a fuse-ball table) and more! It did not have a very welcoming entrance, leaving one of my kids afraid to go down there. I thought it would be a great place to add a fun wallpaper and of course a "Magic Light"! Basement Entrance BEFORE- It is funny how you live with something and ... Read More

Small Space Living Series- New York City Apartment with Crystal Ann Interiors
I am truly enjoying this Small Space Series. Today's feature is no exception, it is so good. Crystal from Crystal Ann Interiors is living in a 700 square foot apartment in New York City with her family of four! After watching the video (at the end of the post) it makes me all the more inspired to simplify our closets and life! Crystal was so smart when designing this small space. They don't have any dressers- they just make very good use of the closets. She also keeps everything very organized. Literally everything has a home, a designated spot that it lives. This is a life-hack that ... Read More

Wallpaper Accent Wall in the Girls Shared Bedroom…again
I have to tell you. I think this is finally my favorite way I have my girls bedroom. I do change out their bedding often and move pillows around. I even had different wallpaper on this accent wall. It was temporary, peel and stick. So if you get an itch for a change (like someone I know) you can rip it off the wall in under 5 minutes without any casualties or damage to your precious walls. Since I am a designer and blogger I like to experiment and try new things, it makes me a better designer. The wallpaper I had on this wall before was a promotional paper that I collaborated with Chasing ... Read More
Ceiling Makeover
Thank you for all the love on my post yesterday on all our new bedding details. We are really enjoying our fluffy bedding. We also enjoy the view laying in our bed looking up at the ceiling. Our old ceiling was hard- literally. They were square tiles. But they were not tiles that you could push up and they would move. It was like sheetrock that was imprinted with a tile stencil. We kept debating on what we could do to makeover the ceiling. Everything seemed like too much work or too messy. With a small house there isn't room to take things out of the bedroom and tear down the ceiling. So we ... Read More
