Paleo and Gluten-Free Fall Dinner- Pumpkin Chili with Paleo BREAD!

Paleo Pumpkin Chili

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey or Beef
  • 1 15 oz can Pumpkin Purée
  • 2 cups Chopped Carrots
  • 1 28 oz can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 7 oz can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Cumin
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
Optional
  • 1 15 oz can Black Beans rinsed
  • 1 15 oz can Kidney Beans rinsed

Method
 

  1. In a large frying pan on medium heat, sauté the ground meat until thoroughly browned.
  2. Place in crockpot.
  3. In the same pan, sauté onions until translucent and then place in the crockpot.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to the crockpot and stir.
  5. Cook on low for at least 8 hours.
  6. Garnish with avocado, cheese and or sour cream.
