We’ve had a couple warm and sunny days, so we started bringing out the patio furniture and cleaning things up in the yard. I’m sure we haven’t seen the end of winter. But here’s to hoping for more sunny days than snowy! We always host my family for Easter, thought I’d share my favorite items to have on hand when hosting and a fun spring table setting!
Target Easter Setting-
Blue Acrylic Beverage Pitcher // Green Striped Umbrella // Medium Paddle Serving Board // Rattan Utensil Caddy // Banded Planter // Green Striped Cushion // Ceramic Wave Bowl // 4 pc mixed pattern melamine salad plates // 20 pc silverware // Melamine Blue Serving Platter // Tan Gingham Cloth Napkins // Blue Plaid Cloth Napkins // 4 pc Blue Acrylic Tumblers // Melamine Blue Serving Bowl // 2 pk mini bowl // Large Handle Serving Board //
Flowers in a pot or jar is always a beautiful centerpiece when hosting. I grabbed these pretty spring daffodils from my local nursery knowing I will be having family over for the holiday. Simple, doesn’t take up too much space but adds so much! I potted the flowers in this banded planter.
I wanted some height for the taller planter and just set it on an older drink dispenser base. I found the other cute striped planter at a local nursery.
A utensil caddy is a must-have! Keep your utensils in it always ready to go. A great item to keep your serving space organized. Plus, if you are outside and it’s windy, your napkins and plates won’t blow away. Having a nice set of plates that you use strictly for hosting and outdoor dining will keep your inside plates in good condition. I bought a ton of these plastic plates last year, I love the detail on these melamine set of plates too!
I prefer using cloth napkins. I don’t mind throwing them all in the wash after. I set inside this detailed blue floral melamine bowl.
I also love to have a fun punch whenever I host, whether that be in a cute pitcher or drink dispenser. These cups are so great because they stack and are plastic!
I have my favorite punch recipes here.
My most loved hosting item is serving boards! They keep everything looking tidy. And I love putting together a charcuterie or even just putting out veggies, desserts, really anything on them.
On this smaller paddle serving board is the whipped honey goat cheese dip we are obsessed with! I got the recipe from my friend Jessica. All you do is whip together goat cheese (I did 4.5 oz), heavy whipping cream (I like a lot! around 1/3 cup). Then drizzle honey over the top. Toasted baguette is my favorite to dip with, especially while it’s still warm. But really any bread, cracker, or fruit and veggies is good.
This handle serving board is so nice and big! How fun is this Easter charcuterie?! My inspo was that cute, giant chocolate bunny and all the fun little Easter goodies I found. I like to keep to similar colors on my charcuterie’s. The oranges are carrots, cubed cheddar cheese and cheese crackers. Browns were mini chocolate bunnies, big chocolate bunny and small and large chocolates eggs. The whites are pepper jack (cubed), sharp white, and a brie cheese. Then pita and rosemary crackers. My kids love the mini Cadbury eggs, this spring mix and spring cookies were fun finds. Greens are cucumber and grapes. Salami for pinks.
Finn couldn’t resist those cadburys!
