Let’s talk about planters! I just don’t get why ALL outdoor planters don’t come with holes in the bottom! Anyone else?? Unless your pots are under a covered porch or patio they need holes. If you don’t haul your planters to safety if the rain comes your plants will be swimming! I know this. And still lost a plant the other day. So let’s fix this! It is really easy. You just need a drill. And I am linking up some of my favorite planters too….

How to Add a Hole to Any Pot-
All you have to do is grab a drill and a 3/8″ drill bit. Find the center and drill a hole! For a larger pot I would drill a couple holes. But for smaller one is great. We have done this to cement pots, plaster and metal. Works every time. Don’t let your plants get flooded out! Drill a hole in the bottom. Pretty simple right?!

Amy can you please tell me the blue paint color and brand and satin, gloss, matte ? Thank you very much. It made the entry pop out. Good idea. It is very lovely. Long ago I fell in love with the basket on the door but they were sold out!! I still love it all. Thanks.
