Hello! Remember this question…
We picked the one that had the most votes from you! Come see it HERE I also did a gallery wall up her stairs and shared my tips on creating a gallery wall.
DESIGN QUESTION (from one of YOU!)-
I had so many requests for a recipe that I posted to my Instagram Stories so I included it on today’s Friday Favorites. Also have you checked out TJMaxx online? I found a replacement pillow that is half the price of my all-time favorite pillow. And we need help picking a chair for TWO readers- come and cast your vote!
I did answer a reader design question on the blog today rather than on here. And I am open to taking YOUR design question! Reply to this email by the end of the weekend with your question and photo and will answer you here with my blog posts.
You could make a Design Board for this room too! Head to my post today to find out how HERE
Hi! I feel like I haven’t answered your design questions in awhile with all the Christmas Content I have been sharing! I have almost all my design file cleaned out in my in-box (I have about five left) and I am sure I will be getting a lot of new questions today after this post. I really love connecting with you this way- but these blog posts take me the most time (I don’t even want to say how long). Not complaining, I love it. Just sharing some facts:) But I know I could be more efficient. I know you have things in your life you know you could be quicker at. Am I right?
Anyways! So I hope you pop over and read todays blog post if you have time. I answered SEVEN design questions! And I emailed about 10 of you back last night, hopefully gave you some ideas.
The photo below is maybe one of my favorite that I gave an idea for- My wheels are spinning on where eI can put it in my house! It is really good.
PS- I replied to Jessica Olivero via email and it bounced back. Please email me and I will send you my ideas!
Oh boy, I answered a lot of your deign questions this week! It sure was fun seeing into your homes and getting to know you better. I answered 7 over on the blog today. I shared a REALLY fun transformation pic that all our Facebook group readers helped to solve! Pop over to see it.
Today I am answering one your questions here (I couldn’t find a great inspiration pic and the email I had to reply to her bounced back!).
So here we go…
“The picture with the television is the wall I am stuck on. I want my space to be functional and the desk doesn’t serve much purpose. I was wondering your opinion on what you think I need for this space- a upholstered bench for more seating, plant, ladder with blankets to add height?” Melanie
I am answering 7 of your design questions today! I love the inspiration picture below from my friend Annie (linked on my blog). Today we are talking about kitchens, rug suggestions, an exterior question and more. Hope you pop over and think what you would do before I give my suggestion!
PS- I am trying to get caught up on all of your questions, well all that I got in October. So if you sent one in October- know you will be getting an email this week or see it on my blog next!
Hello! I have noticed a trend from YOUR design questions. So I answered the most asked question I get. I wonder if you can guess what it is? I also answered one of your email subscriber questions today too. I shared my tips and walked you through an easy photo shop tool too! Hope it helps…
Remember this room from a past “Ask a Designer Series”?
Well Gina sent the picture below! She made the changes I suggested to her fireplace and it look so good!
Pop over to the blog today! I answered 7 of your Design Questions today. All about making a room cozy, mug racks, cocktail tables, entry piece, front porch and another fireplace!
Hello Friends! I am answering 6 of your design questions today! I answered about 10 of them via email the other night. I select the ones to share on my blog if I can find a good “inspiration picture” that helps to show what my design suggestion is.
I am excited about todays questions- they were fun to answer!
I do have one question I wanted you all to help me answer. So if you will go to my blog after this and leave a comment with what you suggest that would be so fun!
Design Question-
“My husband recently mounted our TV on the wall, and now i’m not sure what to do with the console. Does it still work in the space? If so, how can I decorate it?” Thanks, Ryan
I personally think the TV is hung too high. I think accessories below make it feel too busy. But if moving the TV down is not an option then I would do a large piece like a trunk under the TV. Or stacks of unique books.
Do you like accessories under the TV? And what would you suggest?
I also think THIS post on TV Consoles helps to answer this question!
