DESIGN QUESTION (from one of YOU!)-
“I’m stuck. We’ve been in our newly remodeled home for over a year now and after buying some living room furniture for our new space, I CANNOT make a decision on what to do for a rug and pillows. I really want to finish this space! It’s right off the kitchen and the entry so it’s the first thing you see and it’s where we spend 95% of our time. Right now it just looks empty, bare and cold. I really think I’d like to go with some shade of blue, maybe navy, on the floor for the rug. But I just don’t know what to do for the pillows.” THANKS, Anne Olivier
What a pretty room! I agree with the idea of a blue rug. I think the rug on todays blog post would look so good. It is from Target and machine made, so that is something to consider if you don’t love the look of machine made rugs (makes the price point lower) You could search for “wool hand made rugs”.
As far as the pillows go I would do two larger navy pillows on either end of the large sofa like THESE
Accent with THESE white with tassels I like THIS one too because it has a touch of a different color
Pattern Pillow on the loveseat HERE with white HERE (I would take off the pillow that match on this smaller loveseat)
When I am in a hurry or doing it for myself I just clip at the pillow photos and put them on the image to get an idea of what it would look like!
