Finn’s Christmas Bedroom 2024

My kids get so excited for this time of year to decorate their rooms and get ready for the Holiday season. They start asking me as soon as Thanksgiving is over to start, finally sharing it today! Finn was pretty determined to do it by himself this year too. I’ll show you what we did and why he gets so excited!

Finn’s Holiday Bedroom-

Happy boy snuggled up in his cozy bed with his sweet pup, the twinkle of lights make it feel so cozy. For Finn’s room I wanted to do a mixture of plaid’s!

He also loves putting on new bedding for the colder months. It’s become such a fun tradition for us. We both love the plaid. Feels very “Cozy Cabin”. We found this cute green plaid duvet cover, plaid feels super Holiday’ish right? But I also think this duvet would look great all year! We used this duvet insert (extra warmth), that is a favorite, it adds the extra fluffy, cozy look!

I really like the pattern and texture of his Plaid Bed with the patterns on the bed! Pattern on pattern feels extra cozy! Peep the daddy buck on the other side of Finn’s bed.

We love these sheets so much, we got them last year. Having a set of cold weather sheets is a great way to help our normal sheets last longer! Plus gives you or your kids something to be excited about. Like putting out Christmas decor means it’s time for those soft cozy sheets too. We did this red plaid sheet set, they look like flannel but they are cooling cotton, and they are the softest!! Perfect for year round, and for hot sleepers.

Then we put back on his quilt, we have the same on our king bed, the air quilt (in gray). It is soft like butter! Plus it is lightweight, not too heavy. Adds the right amount of warmth for the cooler months.

The sheet set comes with 2 pillow cases, we covered Finns sleeping pillows. Then did the plaid green euros that match his duvet, with the euro inserts we use on all our beds!

Finn has always had a Christmas tree in his room. Something about the glow of the Christmas tree at night feels so magical and cozy.

Plus that means he has his own ornaments and can decorate it how he likes! He has felt animals and other felt ornaments on his tree, we collect every year. How cute is this little fawn?! I just cut up his extra pillowcase and used for ribbon to match his bed, and look a little more boyish.

So fun to have a specific theme so he knows what to look for if he wants to add a new one!

Finn loves his little Tree Night Light!

I love Finn’s independence and wanting to do things on his own. He is really good at making his own bed. He karate chops his pillows so good, ha! Finn and his puppy Rocky are wearing their Christmas pajama’s. Finn is wearing these two-piece pajamas. The top is snug fit henley and bottoms are relaxed fit flannel, true to size and so soft!

Rocky in his dog pajamas (he is in large), so cute!

Hung the Fox Hunt Art (nesting15 for 15% off) with preserved boxwood garland, was the best finishing touch!
