Galentine’s- Valentine Cookie Party and Valentine Gift Ideas

Any excuse to get together with friends and celebrate each other seems like a good idea to me! Ella and Lola wanted to invite some friends over and have a little Galentine party. Sharing some ways you can decorate, a treat to make and eat and a super fun activity that anyone would cherish! Plus this makes for a fun birthday party idea, we did this party on Ella’s and her friend India’s birthday.

The girls went together and found matching Valentine pajamas to wear to the party!
Set up a fun candy board to snack on as you party! We did lots of Candy (NWG for 10% off), and the fruit was eaten first, next time I will add more fruit! Also use this Lazy Susan all the time, it stays on our table, but we use it for dinners too.

Valentine Party Decorations-

I love putting up banners, pennants, balloons, ribbon, really anything to make the space a little more festive for a party. We took the pieces off this cute Valentine paper banner so we could hang the different pieces from my light. Making it a fun and colorful Valentine centerpiece! These balloons are fun to hang or tape to a wall, mixed with ribbon. We also laid out this heart fabric banner, loved all the patterns.
All these different Valentine banners make for a super cute Valentine photo prop backdrop!

Best Cut-Out Sugar Cookies-

We have a favorite sugar cut-out cookie recipe we have always used. It’s quick (no refrigeration and quick cook time!) and tastes so yummy. Our favorite, they have a yummy almond flavor. Cute LOVE cookie cutter and heart cookie cutters.
For an activity we pre-made cookie dough then the girls rolled and cut them out. We love this adjustable rolling pin because you can set it to exactly how thick you want your cookie dough to be. Never getting dough that is too thin. Makes it so all the cookie dough cooks evenly in the oven too.
We love to put frosting in piping bags with different piping tips to get real creative. And they did get so creative! Sprinkles can make for the cutest cookies. We found these cute valentine sprinkles. And these valentines colored sugar sprinkles. Find all our frosting tips here.
Once cookies are cooled. The girls decorated them. The cookies turned out adorable!!! After cookies were done we had these darling large plates so anyone could plate up their cookies to take home to their family or someone else they wanted to share these yummy cookies with as a sweet Valentine.
I also had these cute notecards and pencils out so they could write up a note to who they were sharing their cookies with.

Photo and Frame Gift Idea-

Teen girls love a good photo-op. Ella got this camera for Christmas and I got this photo printer that works from pictures on my phone. We had the girls take photos with each other and then printed them out.
For a party favor I found these round heart picture frames. The girls picked their favorite photo and then put it in the frame to take home.
Or another fun option is to hang them on a bulletin board. If it’s for someone’s birthday then the birthday girl gets to keep all the pictures. Friends could write little notes on the back of the pictures too! Love these little heart push pins!
