Jewelry Christmas Tree- Family Heirloom- Favorite Christmas Decor

My cute grammy gifted me something I have adored since I was a child. Her jewelry Christmas Tree. She gave it to me about three years ago when we moved back to Utah, it was a big surprise! Her sister Sheri made it and actually made one for all her sisters and her mom. I have shared this cherished item on my social media and get asked about it often, especially this time of year. Thought I would share a closer look.

I did ask my grammy why she chose to give the jewelry Christmas tree to me, besides the fact that I am the oldest granddaughter who loves decor and Christmas:). She said, “because I knew you always loved it. Even as a little girl you always admired it and talked about.” My grammy is a stylish lady, who I look up to, she always has on the coolest rings, and gorgeous Christmas decor. One of my favorite things about my grammy is that she will call me after I host a party just to tell me how nice everything was or call me to tell me that she likes something I shared on social media “I really love how that piano turned out!” So thoughtful and love her dearly.
Many of you wanted to duplicate this jewelry Christmas tree, including my friend, Heather. Several of you have jewelry from a family member you want to include or some of you have been collecting jewelry. The frame can be tricky to find, I have seen some glass frames with an arch HERE.
I will say what makes this jewelry Christmas tree extra special, and look so good is how she layered all the jewelry, it isn’t one demential. Plus the same jewelry is mirrored on the opposite side of the Christmas tree. It is all attached with glue to fabric. The size of the jewelry tree with the frame is 22″x14″ and just the tree is 8″ at widest point and 14″ tall. She used E6000 glue to attach the jewelry.
I actually keep the jewelry Christmas tree out all year. I am afraid of it getting broken, plus it looks so nice with all my decor and dishes year round.

    Reading this made me tear up, as your thoughts about your grandma, were just like the thoughts I had about my grandma. ❤️ She’s been gone several years now, but I miss her all the time.
