Pretend like you are moving organizing challenge! Act like you are moving and ask yourself would I really pack this item up and move it?? If the answer is no, let it go now! I have shared several organizing tips on my blog before, remember Maria Kondo Mondays?? But today I have easy checklists for you, by room. I will be sharing these steps and my tips for organizing on my social media as I tackle each room in our home! And this time, we actually are moving!
6 Nesting Ways to Stay Organized Daily
The goal is to set you up for success! So after you have organized, make it a habit, a way of living. Below are things I do daily to stay on-top of clutter. Hope is helps you too!

Organization by Room for a Well Nested Home

Bedroom– Don’t get overwhelmed. Just start with one room at a time. If you have kids, don’t miss the opportunity to teach them how to organize and how to decide what to keep and what to let-go. This will also help future purchases- when you know what you have, you won’t buy it again or something like it!

Bathroom- this room is an easy place to let things pile up that should be tossed. I remember when we did our remodel, I had put a box of bathroom supplies in the basement. About 4 months later, I realized it was down there, so I ended up getting rid of all of it! If I did not need it in 4 months I did not need to keep it. So many un-used items in the bathroom!

Kitchen- this is an area that can get out of control for me quick! I love dishes. So when I buy new dishes I need to remember to take some out and donate. Also, a really good time to clean the fridge!

Garage and Storage- anyone else get overwhelmed by this space the most??? Why does it become the dumping ground? Just me? I personally hang onto things thinking I will use for future projects (which I occasionally do) so I need to have a better set-up from the start. Create a space for how you use it.

Office- not everyone has an office, but you might have a drawer or closet for papers. Best tip is to touch it once, have a spot for papers you need to keep. Honestly we let-go of a lot of papers! (I have this post on the only important papers you need to keep).
Are you ready to get started?? Let’s go!
Hi Brooke,
Are these printable? Is there any way to print out each room page individually? This is great, but when I try to print it runs into a long form and some of a room is on one page and the rest is on another.
yes! Just scale it down (printing option) when you print so it is smaller to fit on the page.
My family is getting ready to move also. We will be moving from Europe back to the United States in 9 weeks. I am excited for ALL your moving and organizing tips. Bring them on!
