Every year I like to look back at the Top Blog Posts and share them with you! Plus you might have missed my BEST posts of 2018! Bonus toady I am going to share the most popular home decor items you bought from my blog or social media under my affiliate link. I would guess that some of you have an item or two off this list! After looking at this list these are ALL items I would suggest to a home owner. These are things that will bring your JOY and items that will add value to your life.
All of these Home Items make total sense that they were the most bought items. Because these are items I share the most and honestly LOVE!!!
10 Most Popular Home Items from 2018-
#1- Magic Lights
These are popular because they are THE BEST puck lights. I have tried many others that are not bright enough, have a cool light, run through batteries fast etc. I use them in my Magic Light Trick and also under our kitchen cabinets. Great for closets that have no light too! And many of you have told me you used them in a power outage! Just have extra battery storage!
#2- Storage Cabinet
I love THIS storage piece and I think you all love this piece because of the storage it offers! Also it is very affordable. We use it to store our piano music, coloring books, stickers, cards etc. You could also use it for winter gear, shoe storage, clothing storage and more!
#3- Defuzzer- Fabric Shaver
I had no idea you would all go crazy over this item. I just figured everyone knew about it. I used to work in a design store that was also a high-end retail store. We suggested this often when customers would call complaining about the fabric on their sofa’s pilling. It will make your sofa and sweaters look like new! I actually just realized I never shared about it on my blog! Most sofa’s will have pilling due to the fabric combo a lot of sofa’s are upholstered in.
#4- Door Basket
This is one of my favorite home decor purchases. I have actually used baskets like this on my door years ago. But none this good! You all sold it out! I shared it one day while I was shopping and also shared a photo of how I would suggest using it. Then I shared it on THIS Blog Post– that was actually a top blog post with all the best Target Finds! You can find a similar one HERE.
#5- Floral Pillow
You all loved this pillow! I shared it in my fall decor finds and used it as my main focal point for our bedding. Make a simple change to your bedroom just by changing up a pillow. This pillow is very affordable too!
#6- Boxwood Garland
Boxwood Garland was what I used this year in our kitchen for Christmas. The best part about boxwood is that it is real, but preserved! It will last for years and years. I used THIS mini boxwood wreath for Christmas and am going to use it thru Spring too!
#7- Spot Cleaner
Ok THIS spot cleaner is one of those items that every home owner should have! When you buy a vacuum you should get this spot cleaner too. I shared how I use it to clean our outdoor cushions. I also clean our rugs, my stair runner, I have gotten some sort of BBQ sauce or ketchup out of our banquette cushions. I use THIS natural solution in the spot cleaner. Oh I also got pen out of a chair with it!
#8- Linen Quilt
A nice white quilt is one thing I suggest for bedding. You will NEVER go wrong with a nice quality white quilt. I have owned several quilts and THIS Linen Quilt is by far my favorite quilt. It is light-weight and a combo of linen and cotton. (On sale right now too! HERE).
#9- Battery Operated Twinkle Lights
These are popular at Christmas time and also all year round! It is how we keep that #hygge feeling around all year! I have a blog post on how to use them HERE.
#10- Echo Dot
Surprised that so many of you bought this!! I assumed everyone already owned one. But we have one in every room of our home. And no, I am not concerned about “someone listening” nothing to hear. Ha! I personally love the dot because of the size. I hate to have anything big sitting out. I did a mini blog post all about the things we use Alexa for, read it HERE.
#11- My Parka
No, this is not home decor. But it was actually the number THREE purchased thing from my blog! It is on sale in some colors still HERE.

Older Top Blog Posts on Nesting with Grace-
#1- Whole30 and Paleo- How I Survive
#2- Whole30 and Paleo Meal Prep
2018 was a big year of growth for me on Nesting with Grace. I hit some major goals I set for myself. And exceeded my expectations. I almost hit 1 million page views on my blog in November! That is FAR beyond what I thought could happen for me this year in my third year of blogging. It was a lot of hours to hit that number and I often questioned if I should just quit.
But all of you kept me going.
Your comments. Your emails. Your commitment to reading my blog is truly such a gift to our family. This blog is a result of your questions and your interest. Your questions spark my next blog post and ideas and are my voice of reason when I accept a new sponsored post. I am pretty quick to say “no thank you” unless I know I can relate it back to something one of you have asked me about. Or if I can bless someone else with it. So thank you for your engagement. I appreciate and love you.

I know! They do have good page views- but not something that gets shared over and over….like recipes do!

I also love your recommended product posts because you’re so authentic with them (it’s aleays stuff you clearly use & love). I also appreciate that you are thoughtful in selecting good value, not just inexpensive stuff. I’m looking forward to what you come up with this year!!

I discovered your blog back in the fall and lOVE it!!! Even though I´m a little ahead of you in age and experience (I have 3 children; one married and two college age who are still at home), I get new, great ideas from you. You asked, so here´s what I´d love to see coming up: inside your closets–how do you organize things? (maybe you´ll cover that on a Marie Kondo Monday!); hosting/entertaining with food in a small home–who came over, what did you serve, where did you seat everyone? (One of my challenges is moving from a large home with plenty of entertaining space to a smaller, 1940´s cottage that can be pretty tight!) And maybe a little more on your backyard? Whatever you do, I look forward to reading it! Thank you!!
