My Favorite Accent Stools and Ottomans for Double Use

Ottomans are more than the perfect way to kick up your feet after a long day! They add color, style, extra seating and, depending on which ottoman you choose, it can also provide additional storage space or double as a coffee table. I rounded up all my favorites and shared all the different places and spaces for an ottoman. And sharing two new stools I just got!

We just got two of these green velvet stools to go under our console table in our dining room. I like how they fill the empty space, but most importantly I like how they can double as seating up to our dining table. There have been several parties where we have needed to use these stools, very handy to have!

In our entry we have these Fringe Stools. A stool is really handy in an entry, a place to sit to put on our remove shoes.

I recently found this channeled velvet stool, at Target for such a great price. I added it to our bathroom. I love the texture it adds to our bathroom. Also a stool is really handy when I am doing Lola’s hair for a cheer event or when she wants me to straighten it.

We have had these X-Base Stools (another less expensive stool here) for a couple years now, came with us from our house in Connecticut. Stools at the end of a bed can make the bed feel larger and add the texture or color you are wanting to add. In Ella’s bedroom I like how the stools pull in the color of her light fixture, she loves them to put her backpack on and sit down to put shoes on.

The Woven Jute Ottomans, under our vintage mail slot carrier are not outdoor ottomans, but they stay pretty protected. I put them under cover when it rains. They are really handy to use for extra seating and I like how it brings in the warm tones we have in the rock on our house. Also love these ceramic stools to use as an end table, a place to put feet up and a place to sit!
