New Swivel Chair from Drew Barrymore

Swivel chairs are really the best chairs for a gathering space, large or small. We had a swivel chair in our small cape, it allowed us to get the most out of our small family room, which doubled as a guest room. When I heard Drew Barrymore was releasing a new swivel chair, in a boucle fabric, I had to test it out! I have a couple areas in our home where I thought it could go, the first spot I tried was in our family room.

The swivel chair arrives in a box, and was really easy to assemble!

The new Drew Barrymore swivel chair is in a gorgeous boucle fabric, which can really go with most rooms, just add a throw blanket to change the look. *full transparency I hadn’t seen the description page before ordering and after reading it the fabric says it is spot treated, so be aware of that before ordering. For me, I plan on just cleaning it with my spot cleaner to hopefully remove what they sprayed on it.

I was surprised at the size of this chair! I had the dimensions (40.5in W x 36.5in D x 31in H) before I ordered it, but it really is a great size to curl up and read or watch a show. Plus at $298, I was impressed with the value!

The pups immediately jumped on the chair with me.

Our family room is set-up mostly for conversation. We do have a TV in this room that is hidden in a gallery wall off to the left. You can see the TV well from our maroon sofa, green sofa, and kitchen but if you are sitting in the chairs you can’t see the TV unless you sit sideways. So a swivel chair is really at the perfect solution to a set-up like this!

The swivel chair comes with three pillows, which do make it very comfortable, but you could easily swap them out if you want a pop of color.

Even though I like that the chair swivel, we *think* want to keep the two chairs we had instead of just one?! Even tho it is oversized!
