Spring Table Setting - Nesting With Grace

We haven’t seen the end of winter. But here’s to hoping for more sunny days than snowy! Wanted to start thinking about Spring and thought I’d share my favorite items to have on hand when hosting and a fun spring table setting from a unique place card to how to create a tablecloth out of a shower curtain.

For our Spring table setting, I keep a lot of the items I use to set and style the table on my shelves. I love to buy the cutest version of things so I can use them as decor and for practical reasons too!

Step one was finding spring flowers that coordinated with my tablecloth, napkins and bring new life into the room! Love the Jasmine and Hyacinth. Looks so cute in my Daisy Pots! Found the small pots at a local nursery, similar here.

For the tablecloth I used two Shower Curtains! My table is long so I knew I would need two, even when we hosted for Thanksgiving or really any family party, we would pull out the longer tables. So I put two together, you can sew, or I just used this fabric tape and folded under (or trim) the side that had slots for curtain hooks then overlapped to secure fabric tape together.

First, I set up the place settings. If you are going to be putting out table decor you’ll want to see what you need and avoid putting together too much. We placed these Scalloped Dinner Plates first, layered the Latte Petal Bowl on top then placed the darling Fruit Embroidered Checked Napkins with Gold flatware.

Love these juice cups. All of them. I want them all! I have collected different styles: Strawberries, Flowers, Bee’s, Caterpillars, Carrots, I just grab out ones that are perfect for a Spring table.

Trust me on this one. Get a small cordless table lamp. There is something about a small light on the kitchen table at dinner time that gets everyone to linger a little longer, savor the dinner and company. I added these fabric lampshades to soften the look (I did have to cut and sew to fit, or you could just attach with a clear elastic).

I printed black and white photos of our guests around the same age. Makes for a fun conversation piece too.

Every plate has a thoughtfully planned out spot for our guests with a cute printed photo place card so they know where to sit. The daisy ribbon is a fun addition to welcome in spring…and guests.

I decided on a brunch theme for food. All of our favorite foods are set on our big Lazy Susan. Berries in a square pink latte baking dish.

My cinnamon rolls fit nicely in this matching Latte Fern baking dish. I have a favorite recipe that doesn’t require waiting for them to rise. And a cute printable here!

My mom is the quiche queen! Has always made the yummiest combinations! I can see why she chooses to make them for brunch. So easy to make ahead and then just reheat! In this cute latte blue pie dish is breakfast sausage, red pepper, spinach and feta quiche, and wow was it amazing! You can find the basic quiche recipe here. We just change out the toppings.

For drinks I just put ice and water in this Pink Glass Pitcher.
