My inspiration came for our front porch when I wanted to continue this years whimsical Christmas theme outside too! Lots of garland, ribbon and bows. This look will carry over nicely through the winter. A fun addition to the front of the house too…

I like to consider what I have going on inside the house and try to create a similar look on our porch. Peek inside at our tree in our family room.

The nutcracker get’s lots of compliments from neighbors and friends, he is a great way to greet guests! I bought him from The Simple Nest, Aubrey the store owner painted him, she said it took her hours to paint, I can imagine it was a BIG project!

Our wreaths have lots of color this year and I love it! I hung the wreaths with this hook that is a magnet, stuck well to our doors! Then layered lots of ribbon and these darling giants bows I found at a Christmas Market. I like that all the colors on the wreath reflect the colors that are inside our home.

We also hung strands of fresh garland from Lowes that are 20′ long (I used 4). We twisted in hooks (we just used these hooks we had leftover from mugs) into our wood and just hung the garland right from that.We then hung these pretty Ornament String Lights over the garland. Love the glow of the lights inside each ornament. We hung two strands.

I found this extra long Scalloped Door Mat that was the same width as out double doors and step.

This giant wreath is bringing us joy!

The red bow ties in the wreaths on our front doors. The pre-lit lights are magical!

Our boxwood trees and topiaries will last through the winter, as long as I still water them!

We hung these Christmas Outdoor Lights and I love them so much! They have a cute vintage look to them, I chose the warm white. In the windows you can see the Christmas candles.
