I actually had several readers ask where I put our Christmas Cards we receive in the mail. Or for any ideas I had on displaying Christmas Cards. As I was hanging up our cards, I thought, this might be too late to share. But then I remembered that I left our Christmas Cards up until the end of January last year. I just couldn’t part with all the cute faces. So let’s embrace the way we display our Christmas Cards. I asked all of my readers to share pictures of how they display their Christmas Cards and I got over 50 photos! So let’s take a look at them, but first I want to show you our Christmas Card this year!
There we are! I partnered with Tiny Prints on our Christmas Cards this year. I was looking at two different companies and I really liked the clarity of the card after I uploaded our photo. Love that you can shop the cards and your picture is in every single card at a quick glance. To be honest I didn’t love our picture. I mean, I just didn’t like where we took them after seeing them in card form. They felt too busy. I almost re-took them but remembered one of my favorite sayings “Done IS better than Perfect!” So I made it work. I switched it to black and white and that simplified the photo.
All of the pictures of the kids were so cute. I personally just find it easiest to take them at our house. I set up the tri-pod for our family photo and it does the job.
This December has been super busy. So I asked my husband, Kevin for his help and he uploaded ALL of our addresses to Tiny Prints. Then Tiny Prints printed ALL of the addresses on our cute envelopes! This saved me HOURS!! And now that they are in there we can use this every year and easily add a new address.
One of my favorite ways to display Christmas Cards is with a ring. Make them into a little book. I actually have done this for the past two years and have saved them with our Christmas Decor. When it is time to take them down I punch a hole in the corner and we are set! I catch my kids looking at them all the time.
This is one of my favorite spots to display our Christmas Cards, on a large piece of art we have upstairs, in our family room/guest room. They are fun to have up when guests stay in this room.
Below are 35 Ideas to Display Christmas Cards from all of you! If you sent me an image and it is not here, I truly apologize, it was hard to keep track of all of all the photos I got and some were too dark or hard to see the cards. Or I got them too late after I had made the collage. I will compile ideas like this again so please share with me when it comes up again!

Thank you everyone for sharing how you display your Christmas Cards! It was so much fun to peep into your Christmas. So powerful when when we connect and share ideas with each other. Our world and ideas grow.
Your cards are so cute! The black and white is classic. I would have liked to seen the color photo too-I bet it was actually really pretty.
These ideas are all so great. They cover so many options for everyone and their different style homes.
Thanks Clarissa! I will share the color over on Instagram!
The cards look great and I love the pictures from your church party. That train table is the cutest!
Thanks Donna! Those turned out so cute, my friend took on that and made all the trains!
Your family picture is awesome. I can’t believe how much Finn looks like a little man. Your girls have the best smiles too! Thanks for sharing the ideas. The perfectionist in me has a hard time hanging things that aren’t uniform — your blog has helped me lighten-up and appreciate the joy something brings instead of worrying that it doesn’t look perfect.
Thank you!
Finn totally does! We actually call him Finn Man:) I am so happy that I have helped you in that way. Love hearing that feedback. xxxx
Sharon, that’s my favorite part about the blog. Brooke has helped me with that too. I love how she hangs things in unexpected ways. Things don’t have to be perfect to be beauitful. She’s helped me embrace my quirky 100 year old house!
Thanks Maggie! I really value that feedback.
Brooke,
Season’s Greetings from West Texas! Your church party decor looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing all the great ideas for displaying Christmas cards. Your family Christmas card photo is so sweet, but it would have to be, with such beautiful faces and sweet souls. The photo of your kiddos is priceless! Merry Christmas & God bless you all!
Thank you Marcie! The party was so much fun! I appreciate your comment and kind words. Merry Christmas!
LOVE the super simple ring-book idea!!! I have saved all the cards we’ve received every year (8 now) and now I know how I can make use of them and continue to enjoy & share with others!
Also love your way of spreading joy to festive neighbors! Such a great example to your girls!
And what a great Christmas card, really like the messages on the back! This year ours included several pics of our 3yo daughter. Several as in so many that we asked my husband’s secretary/assistant if she thought it was too much (13 total) ha! So I was just telling my hubs that I’ve been feeling guilty, like the point gets more & more lost… Like we’re saying look at our beautiful photos of our child, not yay, it’s Jesus’s birthday and let’s celebrate Him. I was thinking next year to include more of a personal message like you did. And maybe even do something crafty she can help with rather than spend so much time on digital layouts, which about did me in this year, lol. Maybe…:) So thanks for the extra inspiration!! And for all the joy YOU spread!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I am sure yours is darling! The thing is I LOVE looking at all types of cards and I think the more pictures the better! We had a friend hand make all hers, they were really cute. I will have to share a picture of it!
But thank you so very much. And Merry Christmas to you!
