We brought Christmas to our front porch! Just wanted to show you. Nothing fancy. Just cleaned the steps. Hung the lights. Strung the garland. Bought a Charlie Brown Tree. Done. And had a handsome, helpful husband by my side. Just wish there was a skiff of snow! Just a pretty blanket of snow.
This year I used all fresh garlands and tree from Home Depot. I had the baskets I had found at Home Goods and since our porch is covered, I thought they might do just fine. Especially since we have had that hanging door basket on our door for well over a year and no weather damage.
Our front door is painted in Coral Perfection from Sherwin Williams. Still loving the pink. I considered painting it black, dark gray or a rich green. But can’t bring myself to paint it….yet.
Added a bunch of fresh greens to the door basket. I am sure there are many of you who could go to their yard and clip some greenery for their basket! I did venture out to my local Home Depot for that as well. (Our door basket is from here, some have been able to buy it online and pick it up at their local store. Our bells are older from Target, I found these cute bell!)
I could have power washed around the windows! But that is what the snow is for! I LOVE having the lighted Christmas wreaths hanging over our front windows (find wreaths here).

Beautiful as always Brooke! Especially love the lighted wreaths in the windows and the door basket! Thanks for the links! And all the GREEN….it will look amazing against the snow….when you get some lol! We are North West CT, Litchfield County and we got hit with a two day storm and several inches of snow! Hard to believe you are just an hour and a half south and have none! Merry Christmas to you and your sweet family! Your blog brings me a lot of joy!

I love the outdoor decorations. It looks so pretty! I want to hang similar wreaths on my front windows, but I’m not sure how to hide the cord for the lights. How did you do it? Is the ribbon hiding the cords? Thank you so much for sharing all of your tips and tricks! I love following your blog!

so we put the cord down thru the window and plugs inside… the ribbon helps to hide it!

So do those window wreaths have to be plugged in? If so how do you make that work?

I L O V E the basket on your door but it looks like Target is sold out. Have you seen anything similar anywhere else? I ordered one from Amazon but it’s way to small.
