Christmas in Finn’s Bedroom- Coziest Plaid Bedding

I changed Finn’s bedding to classic flannel for the holidays and I am obsessed! I also added a small Christmas tree, so special for kids to add to the magic of Christmas, or even a strand of lights around their window. He loves it all, except for the Nutcrackers, he likes them in the day, but turns them around so they “aren’t watching him” while he sleeps. Bless. Sharing Christmas magic in Finn’s bedroom today!

I put a stack of Christmas books on his bed then asked Finn to hop up so I could take some photos. And then this happened. Olive sat there by him like a little doll listening to Finn read “Olive the other reindeer.” Cutest.
I really wanted to do plaid bedding, but was worried it would be too much with his plaid bed. Turns out it looks awesome. Pattern on pattern adds a an extra layer of coziness. Gives a cabin vibe that I am here for!
I did these velvet flannel sheets, and they are the softest!! Plus they help keep him warm in the colder months.
He didn’t have a quilt on his bed before and felt he needed it for the winter. I did the same quilt we have on our king bed, the air quilt (in gray). It is soft like butter! Plus it is lightweight, not too heavy, adds the right amount of warmth. Plus, comes in a lot of colors.
A duvet cover and insert add the extra fluffy, cozy look! The Company Store has a lot of great duvet inserts, I shared three of my favorites duvet inserts on this blog post.
Finn reminds me of Kevin McCalister, from Home Alone in this photo. Just decorating his tree for Christmas! Finn is wearing these cute Holiday Pajamas, soft and oversized.
We collect felt ornaments and add to his collection every year. The Company Store has really cute options!
