You are in for a treat! I got to tour the most character filled Coastal home in my neighborhood. I actually saw this home in our local Fairfield, Connecticut magazine. I then realized that we ride bikes by it all the time on the way to my girls school or the beach. They are just a short walk to our local beach. Not to mention that yellow door is very distinct and eye catching. I reached out to Gaelle and asked if I could come peep inside her home, because I am a creeper like that:) and I knew all of you would LOVE to see this. A Coastal home like this needs to be shared with the world! Gaelle also runs a design firm and I don’t see why everyone doesn’t hire her! Gaelle said she is a collector of memories. Every shell, piece of art or accessory was picked with intent and purpose. I will let the pictures speak for themselves and link sources and Gaelle’s contact info at the end of this post.
Now get settled in, grab some popcorn and a drink you are in for some major inspiration and a lot of pictures!
When I went to Gaelle’s Coastal Home it was a rainy dark day, it felt super cozy. Typically I turn off the lights when I take pictures, but she had them all on and I went with it. Fun to see all her gorgeous lighting on, casting a whimsical glow.
Had to point out the mirror above her bathroom sink. I shared this on my Friday Favorites! Gaelle said she uses this mirror often and it is one of her favorites and I was surprised at the price and where she found it HERE.
Love their hanging chair- this is the smaller version of our double hanging chair!
What did you think?! You might need to go back thru to notice all the details. I love her kitchen and all the wallpaper. Also her rescue dog is probably the cutest, most well behaved dog I have been around. Ok, fine I will move in and take your dog:) Thank you so much Gaelle for letting me into your home to share it with all of my readers!

Perfection!!
Wow, what a beautiful, fun home! That looks like it would be in a Hallmark movie as a vacation rental. Haha! The yellow door and outside lights are super cute! I don’t use much color in my home but this sure makes me rethink being afraid of it.
I know! I totally thought a movie needs to be filmed here! And yes, makes me want to add more color!
Thank you for sharing! Her home is Beautiful!!
Are you kidding me?!?! This house is incredible. What a talented woman! I’m curious….is beach cottage style only okay by the beach? Thank you Brooke for being brave and asking to take pictures for us! ❤️
I know! so amazing right?! I don’t think it has to just be by the beach. You can for sure have a beach vibe anywhere!

Oh, my heavens! This house is absolutely gorgeous! So much character and interest!! I love every square inch of it!! Thank you for being a house stalker like me!!
yes! Love it to:)
Wow, mind blown! While scrolling through the pictures of this home I was trying to visualize the type of person who would live here and I was imagining a polished, grandmotherly, somewhat strict but very kind woman who dresses in Talbots even when lounging around the house. Then I clicked over to Gaelle’s web site and saw a youthful, surfing, fun loving mother of young boys. I want to hang out with Gaelle AND have her decorate my land-locked Wisconsin house!
how funny! Yes she is totally fun and a cute mom with major talent!
What a fabulous home ! I love everything about it! Were you able to find out there some of the artwork is from? Name of artist?
Specifically the big blue heart or the flag with hearts ? And that colorful tribal face print in the hallway?

Amazing artist!
