For Valentine’s I got Lola a bunch of sweet things to make roller bottles with. She LOVES making roller bottles and uses oils daily too. I really enjoy doing this with her. So as I was walking around Target gathering up a couple gifts for the kids- Finn got play dough, Ella got a LEGO set and then Lola was left. I told Kevin, well she really loves doing all the oils with me. So I am going to order her some fancy bottles, dried rose petals and dried lavender. And I knew it, she was in heaven and felt LOVED. Putting together roller bottle as a gift for someone is so unique and personal! It says- I know what you are going thru and what you might need for support. Lola gave her teacher the “unicorn roller bottle” (recipe below) for Valentines. I thought it was so thoughtful of Lola. She said that she knew her teacher would love the smell and the boost it would give her!

Roller Bottle Recipes- (Free printable below)
- If you are adding any dried flowers make sure you leave space for them or add them at the start!
- After you add the oils and flowers- fill the rest of the way with a carrier oil- leave a little air on the top
- For my carrier oil I use fractionated coconut oil for most and then jojoba oil for anything face (doesn’t clog pores)
- These are for adults. My kids do use all these- but I eased them into the oils. I recommend doing half for kids. Do not use on infants. These are not intended for animals

- More on Essential Oils-
Below is the type of graphics I create for people who buy an essential oil starter kit from me! Tons of daily education if you are interested in transforming your home go HERE and you can print the Ultimate Roller Blends HERE
I use Young Living because I get wholesale on everything, you can get it too! You just have to buy a starter kit. The starter kit includes 12 of their best starter oils and a gorgeous diffuser to get you going with using oils in your home daily. The kits start at $165 and most the diffusers cost that alone. You can always buy one oil at a time and never get a starter kit- but you pay retail and it takes a long time to get all the oils to make and do the things to enjoy the oils everyday in your life. (If you would like to order you can HERE to keep reading).
Keep on reading on Essential Oils-
Any suggestions made on this blog are very specific to Young Living essential oils and should not be used with oils from another source. Statements made on this website about Young Living Essential Oils have not been evaluated by the FDA. These products and information are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Anyone suffering from disease or injury should consult with a physician. If you are currently on medication, please do not stop.
When you order the starter kit, do you automatically get the discounted prices on your next purchase? For example, I order the starter kit but want the extra oils that don’t come in it-am I paying full price for those? Or can I join, with you, without purchasing a starter kit and just order the oils I want? That’s probably more expensive, Right? Ha, hope my questions help others that are a little confused too. And thank you for all your information and fun roller recipes.
YES! once you get the starter kit you are a member! You get the wholesale price! Same price everyone gets.
And you do not need to buy monthly
Would it be safe to put a drop of the lime in your water bottle or should you only use lime vitality in drinks?
There is nothing different from the two! So you could do the regular lime. I would only do one drop with a large glass of water. One drop basically equals two whole limes.
Young living has to label them differently because the FDA has separate categories for topical and internal usage, they must be labeled separately.
The link you have for the gold topped roller bottles actually shows silver instead?? Thank you for posting all the great recipes! 🙂
Weird! It switched!!! Here it is- https://rstyle.me/n/df3yqdb5qwf
I just found out last week the whole list of essential oils that dogs and cats can’t be around and are dangerous for them. The list included a lot of these. You should inform
People before they order. They are dangerous for pets . The diffuser too. I was going to order and saw this online. So this is disappointing. Will use the lavender in my bedroom with door shut only. Just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t know this.
I did know this and these roller bottles are not for animals.
So glad you posted these, can’t wait to try them but I was wondering how much you roll on and how often? I have the starter kit but really don’t know how to use them exactly lol please continue to blog about oils and recipes! Thank you!
Hi! Thanks! I roll on as needed- for instance when I was driving and stressed and sore shoulders I rubbed the muscle one on about every 30 minutes! But some I only use like twice a day.
Thanks for sharing! I wonder if you, or any of your insightful readers, could recommend a diffuser that is NOT a humidifier? I need one for our large living area (so I need one at least 600 ml, from what I can tell), but I don’t want steam/cold mist/etc blowing out. I can’t seem to find one large enough that JUST diffuses. I would love any recommendations or feedback. Thanks!
Did you compare other essential oil companies to Young Living?
If so how did you ultimately decide on this company?
yes I did! I loved their seed to seal process! And all of the products they offer outside of just the oils too. Their diffusers are gorgeous too
I can’t find the Thieves liquid hand soap on the YL website. Could you provide a link please?
Are all your recipes safe to use when breastfeeding? Also, is ningxia safe to drink when breastfeeding? Thank you!
Hi! Ninhgxia is safe!
You want to avoid peppermint when nursing…..that is the only one I am aware of. But I would make sure!
Hi! Which of these recipes did you & your daughter add the rose petals to? Excited to try them out!
Do you need to refrigerate the Coconut or Jojobia oil? It doesn’t say on the bottle.
Where did you get your tiny little funnels? I need those!
Thank you!
Hi! No you don’t need to refrigerate. Those funnels came with the roller bottles!
