I have wanted a Letter Board for a while now. I am sure you have seen them all over Instagram and Pinterest. I laughed when I saw a quote on a Letterboard with this..
“I am probably not funny enough to own one of these.”
And that is TOTALLY me! I do get a kick out of reading all the clever things you funny people think of. Since I am not funny my Letterboard will probably be a borrowed quote.
We were reading scriptures the other night and I came across a scripture that jumped out to me. I read the scripture twice because I loved it so much and wanted to make sure my girls caught it too, and thankfully it did. After I read it Ella said “we should write that down somewhere.” My heart melted. I love that she thought of that on her own and that it touched her too.
So she wrote the scripture on a paper and we agreed it would be a great scripture to memorize.
Fast forward to my new Letterboard arriving in the mail. As soon as it came Ella asked if she could put “our” scripture on the Letterboard.
I also got a small Letterboard for our kitchen. I hung it up with command strips. Ella likes to make French Toast (the one thing she can make all on her own) so rather than having to ask me every time how to make it we put it on our Letterboard.
Below I hung THIS Letterboard in Ella’s Lego Room! (See the Lego Room HERE).
Below are some of my favorite Letterboard Quotes- the funny and inspirational. Just incase you aren’t funny enough to come up with your own;)!

This is where our larger Letterboard ended up in our house. I imagine we will change what we letter on it often- and by we I mean my girls. That E.T. quote is probably my favorite one, I laugh every time I read it and think “that is so true!” (exact gray Letterboard HERE)

Love these! Definitely need one! I feel like they are the new chalkboard! I would put “Gratitude turns what we have into enough” and hang it by my back door!
Thanks!
I would love one of these! I’ve always envied those with beautiful hand writing who could make a chalkboard look amazing, and I knew that could never be me because my handwriting stinks. Not sure what I would write on it because I don’t have the funny gene, but most likely a Scripture verse because I love having God’s Word displayed in my home.
CONGRATS! You are the letter board winner! I will have LaLa Boutique send you an email!
These are so great- I have been thinking about purchasing one for awhile. I love the idea of putting it in the kitchen or our breakfast nook where it can be viewed daily:) Thanks!
How cute! I would definitely put the ET quote. That’s too funny. And it would definitely have to go in my kitchen so I can see it all the time! #momlife #wifelife #alwaysinthekitchen
I love your idea of a simple recipe in the kitchen for my 8 year old. A weekly verse would be special too!
So many of these are funny, and the first one made me laugh out loud! I don’t know what I would say on my letter board, but I’d make it an announcement in the front hallway.
Oh how fun!!! I’ve been wanting one forever but haven’t pulled the trigger!! Love where you placed yours. So tasteful, as always!!! Sara
Love your blog. I would put it in my 6 month old’s nursery and say “Let her sleep for when she wakes she will move mountains”
I have loved letter boards for a long time! I would put mine in the kitchen with, “My heart says cheese dip, but my jeans say, woman, eat some carrots!” I also love “You are my home.”
I really like this idea. I’d put it in either our kitchen or den. Depending on what is most relevant in our lives at the time, I’d switch between displaying quotes and Bible scriptures. Thank you for sharing this and for giving your readers a chance to have one of their own. I so enjoy reading your blog and appreciate your love and devotion to your sweet little family and to God. May He richly bless you and yours!
I’d love to have one of these boards! I’d totally hang it on my living room and it’d say: After Tuesday even the calendar goes W T F !
These look so fun! I would definitely put it in the living room for everyone to see!
Cracking up at “nice butt”! I would hang it in my kitchen so everyone can have fun- reminds me of the craze where everyone had those jumble word magnets and would make funny sentences on the fridge đ
I love these! To be honest, is probably hang mine on the bathroom door and put “go ask dad first” ?
I’d put mine in my home office to encourage me as I parent and work for my dreams every day! đ
I would put: Oh How She Loved To Be Home.
Love the idea of one in my kitchen by our kitchen table. If lucky enough to win, I would plan food references and puns for the board. Love the E.T. quote, so true!
omg, my girls would love having one of these near their craft station in the dining room.
I would love to have one for our living room! Would probably put a quote from The Office on it! âșïž??
I would love to put a weekly verse on it for our boys!! I would put it in our family/playroom so it is visiable everyday!!
Cool! I bought my grandson a letterboard for Christmas! I am going to send him this blog post!
I have wanted a letterboard for a long time! Mine would have to have some Beatles lyrics. I would hang it in our family room. The Beatles have some pretty good life inspiration!
Mine will go in our play room, and it will start off saying Now a ‘Nole as our oldest daughter heads off the FSU for college soon!
I would put it in my son’s guitar room. It’d be a Bob Marley quote that says ” One good thing about music…when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
I love the idea of family scriptures on letter boards AND using it as a menu. One of my favorite quotes I’ve seen on a board is “Check yourself before you wreck yourself” …seems to be my summer mantra with kids home?
I would put my letterboard in my kitchen! Love these, want one?
We’re closing on our new house in less than two weeks and I completely want to start fresh with my furniture/decor so this baby could go anywhere. As for what I’d put on it, I’d imagine it would change daily–probably going between inspirational, funny and embarrassing statements about my husband đ
I would love to put it in my living room ! We just had it redone and it definitely needs a Letterboard .
I’ve wanted one of these for my kitchen for awhile! These are awesome and your quotes are perfect! Lol
I’m with you, I think I would be at a loss knowing what to constantly change my letter board to say. At times I feel it may remain the same for an extended period of time. I’ve swooned over these for awhile by with five kids i rarely find some splurge on me funds. I think if I did own one I would want it in my kids bathroom or in our mud room where the kids back packs hang and all their daily activity stuff. I’d want a constant reminder for them to never doubt themselves or their worth, believe in who they are and in who God so carefully created and to be the good in the world. A daily reminder of that and you are set with the armor to face today’s world. Sometimes it’s easier read then listening to good ol mom say it and see the eye rolls
I am seriously not funny enough to own one of these! Seriously, no sense of humor!! But I love them! OMG, I love the one above that says even the calendar after Tuesday says WTF! I would use it for inspiring quotes and scripture but I am sure it would be hijacked by the rest of my family who were blessed with a sense of humor! Our family would have fun!!
Love these! I would put it in my dining room right in the middle of our home!
I’ve been saving the perfect spot above our couch for a letter board! I’ve been asking for one since Christmas and my hubby just isn’t sold yet. So hopefully I win this one! Because who doesn’t love free stuff?! ?
Love these quotes!!! I’m not really sure where I would put it since we’re moving soon but I know I would find a prominent place for it! I would love to secretly change them to make everyone laugh and keep them on their toes!!
Thanks!!
Oh! This grandma would hang one on the backsplash. Fingers crossed. Love the scripture!
Helaman 5:12 would be on mine.
I would put it in my kitchen, next to my coffee pot, to remind myself that no matter how small the steps, they are still steps.
Love the letterboard idea! I’d put one in our kitchen so it would be seen by my hubby and 4 kids upon waking. It would say “EVERY DAY IS A GIFT” Life is so precious:)
I would love one of these for my classroom! I am an English teacher and love to expose my kids to quotes (funny and/or wise :)) so this would be perfect!!!
I would absolutely love one for my camper! I’d change it every weekend we go to the lake! â€ïž
I would love to have one of these!! I would put it either on my mantel or in my entryway. I think the first thing I would put on it would be “We we’re together, I forget the rest.”
Thank you for hosting this giveaway! So fun! Love your blog and style!
Oh, I love all the letter boards!!!! And have
Many favorite saying and scriptures. I would put in living room and maybe first saying would be “Philippians 4:8”.
“I don’t even believe myself when I say I’ll be ready in five minutes” would be my first letterboard quote! When I saw this quote on your blog, I chuckled to myself, took a screen shot, and immediately sent it to my husband! It is a simple, playful, and relatable quote!! đ Thanks for the opportunity to enter & win one of these!!
I would love to have one of these letter boards! They are so fun! Thanks for the chance. I’d put ion our kitchen or living room .
I was just looking for one earlier today! I need one for our kitchen!
Would really love to have one! I would display it in my den so that I could read it often and change it up often!
I would love one to put by the front door. I’d put promises and reminders to see as we enter and leave. These are so great for that â€ïž
I would put in my entry way. I would use this quote from Father Theodore Hesburgh, The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.
I need one for my kitchen! I want my kids to have daily reminders of what’s important.
hey girl- great post! I would put my board in the kitchen and it would say something about chocolate!
I love these! I’d probably put it near the door and put a witty quote reminding me of things I always forget so hopefully I wouldn’t forget them.
I think I might use a quote from the letters that my boyfriend and I write back and forth to one another! We’ve been doing distance now for two years and those make my day. I’d love to put this up right where I could see it in the morning to start the day that way. It would be something fun to bring with us when we are finally in the same place too đ love your post! So many ideas!
Definitely would go in my kitchen for recipes!
I’ve been eyeing these letter boards for a while! I would put it in the kitchen where everyone in my family would see it regularly. I’d like to say I’d change the quote every day but I know that will never happen, so maybe once a week? :). I would also steal quotes from all of the other letter board owners…there are so many good ones on insta!
Oooh I have been wanting one for awhile. I’m not sure if I’m cool enough. But if put it on our main floor for everyone to see. Maybe even the bathroom bc everyone likes a laugh in the bathroom. But I recently stole a little quote from Chris Loves Julia. It goes ” if you say gullible slowly it sounds like orange” hilarious and everyone loves it when they read it in the bathroom.
I don’t know if I have ever left a comment on a blog, mostly read and move on, so here I go::
Let all you do be done in love
I love these!!! I’ve been wanting one! I would love itvin my newly painted kitchenâ€ïž?! My four kiddos would have a blast helping me put funny sayings!
In my kitchen! Recently we have been talking about the word “Beloved” – the name God calls His children – “being loved”! So I tell my girls before they go to bed, “You are Always being loved.” So i think that’s what I’d put on my letter board right now… but it would change all the time, I’m sure!!
I want one so bad! My husband is in the military and I already know what it would say- Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo Deployment … if you read that vertically- it’s a bit inappropriate- but would be my way of coping when he’s gone!
I would LOVE to have one of these . . . and I already would have if I had the money right now! I would put it on the wall in my open concept kitchen/dining/entry and put up a different positive quote each week.
I’d put one of our favorite Star Wars quotes! (Btw, miss seeing you at GSL. Your new home looks gorgeous!)
I’d probably spend way too much time on Pinterest pinning fun quotes. I’m redoing my bedroom with furniture I actually choose myself rather than hand me downs, so I’d probably use the letter board in my room.
Love these so much! Would hang in my kitchen and display quotes, menus, football scores, and fun messages. Love getting everyone’s creative juices going with such a simple idea!
My family and I would display our letter board as you first walk into our home . We would display inspirationalâ quotes and Bible verses on our letter board so we would see the letter board everyday and also as we enter our home and leave our home.
Love this. Have always wanted one. I would defnput in my dining room area. As for what it would say I’m guessing that could change daily.
Love these! I feel there is no wrong place to put one of these fun letter boards. My girls love changing up the quotes- we have a small one now that says “Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway…” Yup. đ
love the boards! and the small one for the kitchen is so smart. I would put inspirational quotes and anything I could think of that’s funny đ would be extra fun during the holidays to add quotes from favorite movies. My kids are currently in love with Hotel Transilvania 2 and keep saying “blah blah blah”. they are too small to read yet but it would make me smile to see that during halloween on our board â€ïž
Love! I’ve been eying these on everyone’s blog orninstagram pages! So cute! I would put in my kitchen, the hub of our home!
well I THOUGHT I would put one in my entryway wall gallery but after seeing yours in the kitchen, I just might do the same! I would probably aternate between witty comments (other people’s that I steal, like you said! hahaha!) and Scripture references as well đ
I’ve always wanted to put one of these fun boards by the back door so we see it when we are coming and going. Living your blog by the way:)
I would love to have a letterboard and probably have it in my kitchen area. I get to see my 4 year old granddaughter everyother weekend and creating something on the letterboard together would’ be so special to do and see everyday until we see each other again!!!
It would be great in my living room! I love reading the quotes and would use this all the time. Thanks! I choose soft shell – always!
Oh these are adorable and I love your “family Scripture” đ !! I would place it front and center on my mantle with a Scripture about thankfulness…we had our first child leave home 2 weeks ago…he graduated from college 3 weeks ago and this weekend our youngest is graduating from high school…and my Momma heart is struggling with all of this change…so, what better than God’s Word to cheer the heart and set our minds on things above? Thanks for the great giveaway- WOW, it’s a beauty!! Blessings to you all!
In our new nursery that’s waiting for our first little one this August = ) What fun to constantly have loving and inspirational words of wisdom for our little one!
These are awesome! I’ve been wanting one for my little boys first birthday party! After that I would keep it on display in my living room đ
Love these! I’m with you, I think all of my quotes would be borrowed! Other people are so much funnier than me. I have a wall in my kitchen that I have wanted to rework for a while. I think I would put it there!
I would put one in my living room and it would be a great tool for memory verses for my little ones.
I love the both of your boards. I think I would need two as well because I wouldn’t be able to decide. Love the idea of having one in the kitchen with recipes on it, but would also love to have one at our front door. I love having quotes around the home tonthink about. My favourite right now is “fear tricks us into a boring life” – Donald Miller. And the one by my front door would read “welcome to our happy, crazy, fun home”.
I need one in the hallway to be seen every time we leave the house.
I’d love one of these for our home schoolroom! I’d let the kids choose a Scripture quote or line of poetry and put it up themselves! đ
I would love one of these for our gallery wall in the living room or for our kitchen to leave love notes or encouraging scriptures ?
Oh.my.goodness! The letter board quote you have made my day! (Seriously!) I laughed OUT LOUD with the E.T. one! I think I need that quote in my life! Ha! ?
I don’t think I could even say one specific spot that a letter board would live in my home because I think it would be traveling all over to different rooms! I can see it working in so many way! Thanks for sponsoring this giveaway! What fun!
I would put the letterboard in our kitchen, and I would probably end up using someone else’s quote since i’m not super creative myself. The quote I use most often is, “Live Simply & Be Grateful” but I already have that on a wooden sign. Probably something funny đ I like one that you posted, “Being an adult is like folding a fitted sheet. No one really knows how.” #TrueStory
In my kitchen, because we are all always in there. I have this written on our fridge but would look much cuter on one of these ? ” I am the daughter of a king who is not moved by the world for my God is with me and goes before me. I do not fear because I am His”!
I have been wanting one of these boards!!! Not sure what I would put on it first but probably a scripture.
I love letter boards. I would put it in our laundry room next to our garage so we would see it everyday when we walk in and out to the garage.
Love the letterboards and the quotes that you found. I would hang mine in the kitchen and put up the quote “Home is Where
the Heart Is” – not very original but one that I have always loved and believed.
I would hang it in our kitchen/ dining area and put up a new funny quote or mantra at the start of the week. Why not add one more thing to do on Sunday nights?!?! Maybe take a weekly photo of my two small girls in front of it and end up with a year of “quotes to live by” + weekly photos of my girls.
I absolutely love these! Mine would probably go in my family room or kitchen….I would change it up weekly with whatever I’m feelin’. Motivational, lyrics, movie quotes, grocery lists and to-do lists…the possibilities are endless!
I would love one of these! It would be in my entry way and say Start each day with a grateful heart.â€ïž
I’m torn between putting a letter board in my kitchen or my my loft/play room. I love these!!
I love letterboards. I’d put one in my family room that says: “This room is all talk and cuddles… batteries not required.”
I’ve been dying to get one of these. I would have it in my living room for all to see. The first quote I would put is something I say to the kids when they are fighting…’speak words that strengthen the soul’ . But I would so love to walk in and see the hilarious quotes my kiddos would sneak in lol.
I love the one that says the kids are making memories of me yelling at them to clean up the mess! Too funny! I would like one in our family room to display memory verses and the funny jokes my kids tell me.
Oh my goodness that ET quote is hilarious! Love the French Toast recipe in the kitchen too. I’d love to have a letter board by my front door. Love the C.S Lewis quote “Courage dear heart” so simple and sweet.
I have the perfect spot in my kitchen–and I would fill it with corny jokes that make my kids groan every time they walk through.
In my kitchen of course. I have been wanting one of these for a while. Love all the quote ideas. đ
I would either have it near the front door, or in my kitchen. It might say something to make me feel better, like, “my house was clean yesterday, sorry you missed it.” Or “dull women have immaculate homes”.
I love the letter boards! I would put on mine “some paths can’t be discovered without first getting lost” thanks for this post – so fun and doable at my house đ
These are great and love your post! I would put mine in my living room for all to see & be inspired along with me.
I â€ïž Letter boards!! We are currently fostering two precious babies in addition to our own three biological children. I’ve been struggling lately to remember that the Lord has this situation-no matter what- in the palm of His hand. I would put this letter board up in my main mixing area to put scripture reminders of his sovereignty and encouragement!
