My sister Mandi was in the market for a new oven. We found an impressive one! When Mandi and her husband Mitch first moved into her home, we had given her a kitchen seating area makeover. As we were changing out the oven I noticed this side of her kitchen was a little bare… see how easy it is to add some charm to your counters without overcrowding. And see how we made our favorite cupcakes with a (new to us) oven feature!

Their new oven is the Frigidaire Gallery 30-inch induction range, not only does it look really nice it has 15+ cooking modes! Have you even steamed your baked goods before? Neither had we! Had to test it out and see what made it so special. I was most intrigued by the no preheat, steam bake, air fry, and bread proof!
Once we installed the range, we added some fun finds to this side of her kitchen. Mandi and Mitch love their coffee so decided they needed a little drink station. We drilled then screwed in these mug hooks. Then added some color with cute spring mugs.
I like how seamless Frigidaire Gallery 30-inch induction range looks, the open back really is so nice.
Since we had more space, we hung some cute plates that pulled in the blues around the room. We just used command strips. So far they have held up with the heat, but we will keep our eye on them.
It was Kevin’s birthday as we were helping Mandi set this all up, so we decided to make him a birthday treat! Yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting were calling his name. Is there anything better?!
We used the steam bake setting on the range. What is steam-baking? It’s simultaneously steaming AND baking, or just baking in a moist oven environment. We think this is one of the coolest cooking methods! All we did was add water to the oven floor, filling it to the brim. Then turn it on, and preheat it so fast!
Obviously we needed a drink to wash down our cupcakes. The Frigidaire Gallery 30-inch induction range boils water 50% faster than a gas cooktop. Really makes it so you can get dinner on the table faster!
My sister said she noticed it’s been easier to clean than her other induction stove, since this induction heats the pan and not the cooktop around it, spills wipe up more easily!
I had to try the air fry setting too. We love a good sweet potato fry. The oven does preheat so fast and all the different settings were easy to find and instructions were clear on how to use that setting. They tasted so yummy!
Loved the mini kitchen fresh, and happy baking to my sister and her family!! Shop the range HERE.
Cupcakes-
We used the recipe below, but swapped out the white cake mix for a yellow, and added 1 tsp coconut extract (trust me this is amazing!) and 1 tsp vanilla extract. You can find our favorite semi-homemade cakes recipes HERE. I will say the cupcakes cooked quicker. So instead of 16 minutes I would do 14 or 15. We noticed the cupcakes had a higher dome, and although it looked a little brown on the top, it didn’t taste crisp at all!

What a darling kitchen, the colors all blend so nicely plus now I want cupcakes and sweet potato fries, lol. I spied on the far right hand counter a small blue oven? I would love to know specifics on it.
Many thanks
