We recently did a bedroom makeover for my friend, Laila. We have shared their kids bedrooms and her office, thankful she lets us come in and take over rooms in her home to share ideas with you, and she works right along side me getting it done! Laila and her family moved into this home about a year ago, it was built in the 90’s and has a great footprint, but it needed some updating and Laila’s personality in it! Their bedroom is now my favorite room in their house, it feels so much bigger, brighter and still manages to feel cozy. Ready to see it? First take a look at my design plan…
Bedroom Design Plan-

Nightstand (in plan) // Linen Duvet // Rug // Bench (actual bench I used was this one)

+Sateen Sheets (in ivory)– if you want soft like butter sheets, these are for you!
+Mattress Pad– this is cooling and added extra padding to their mattress…a must!
+Velvet Quilt– surprisingly not too heavy, adds amazing texture to the bedding look
+Velvet King Sham with King Insert
+Velvet Brown King Sham with TWO King Inserts (wanted it extra full)
+Euro Shams in Clay with these Euro Inserts (firm)
+Duvet Cover in Clay with this duvet insert (extra warmth)

Beautiful job as always! So many great ideas! Love the details! You’re amazing! Did you do anything to keep the sideboards together?
Thanks! No, just pushed together!
Can you link the nightstand in the links picture?
