There’s just something about spring that makes me want to freshen everything. Open the windows. Let the light in. After a long winter of heavier layers, darker tones, and cozy everything… I’m always ready to lighten it up. I’ll take you along as I refresh our bedding and make a few simple changes for the season. Here are 7 easy ways to refresh your bedroom for spring and fall in love with your space again.

1. Rotate Your Mattress

2. Give Your Mattress a Refresher

3. Wash All Bedding (Yes, All of It)

4. Replace or Swap Out Old Bedding

Bedding Everyday Basics-
Mattress Topper– I like a REALLY soft bed, and I want my bed to look very fluffy. I added the ultimate in softness and comfort with the feather topper.
Mattress Protector –This goes on every mattress, a mattress cover, it is cooling too!
(I also linked a water protector HERE).
Duvet Insert (I select extra fill for fullness)– My favorite and current is this all-season duvet, and it’s just the right weight for layering.
Duvet Cover– I did the duvet cover in the same gingham pattern as the sheets for a cohesive, layered look. There’s something about carrying the pattern through that I love. The soft, breathable linen fabric keeps everything light and comfortable.
Quilt–A quilt adds instant coziness while still keeping things light for spring. I love layering mine across the foot of the bed for added texture and an effortlessly styled look. This one is Scandinavian-inspired and made from 100% organic cotton on both the front and back, giving it that natural softness and breathable feel that’s perfect for the season.
Decorative Euro Insert Firm– only insert I use for euro shams, I go with the firm.

5. Make Your Bed Fluffy & Inviting

6. Declutter Nightstands

7. Make One Intentional Change
