It’s always fun to have a special treat or food that fits your party theme. Sharing how Finn and I put together the cutest patriotic board, which would be so fun for any summer party, 4th of July or Olympic watching gathering! I used fruit because, in the summer months, it tastes extra refreshing. Paired with this super yummy cookie butter fruit dip for a treat everyone will love!

My red patterned shirt and shorts, and Finn’s red, white and blue stripes shirt and shorts.

Start with a serving board or lazy Susan. I like this Large Lazy Susan because it’s easy to spin and reach the items you are looking for, especially for little hands that can’t reach too far. Then we added a few parfait cups, I like the height of these! We put our fruit dip in these. We also put down our square appetizer plates for the cookies, pretzels and crackers, things we didn’t want getting soggy from the fruit.

I love a good fruit dip, I wanted one that is easy to make, yummy, and healthy(ish). It’s a 2 ingredient dip! Vanilla Greek Yogurt and Biscoff Cookie Butter. We did 1 cup vanilla yogurt to 1/4 cup Biscoff Cookie Butter.

We chose things that were white, or light brown for those. Put the yummy wafer cookies in a parfait cup with mini flags! So fun!

For the fruit we chose items that were red and blue. Strawberries (we like to leave the stem on for easy grabbing and eating) raspberries, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, etc.

I thinly sliced the watermelon and then Finn used a star shaped cookie cuter to cut them into star shaped pieces. He thought that was so fun. And we loved the perfect sized watermelons to eat!

We did 2 cups yogurt and 1/2 cup cookie butter, and stirred together well. It fills 2 parfait cups. We finished off our fruit board with mini tongs for easy grabbing.

Hope you enjoy this yummy fruit dip and board idea to serve at your next summer party! Can’t forget to mention our fun summer outfits. My red patterned shirt and shorts, and Finn’s red, white and blue stripes shirt and shorts. Comfy and cool!
