I went to YOU this week for Marie Kondo Monday! Sharing all of your before and afters that were inspired by Marie Kondo or something I shared. I just love seeing how you are so excited and the joy you get from organizing your space. Hand picking what is really important and useful in your life. If you follow the KonMarie Method for organizing you will only have to organize one time!!! DO not think this process is something you have to do over and over. Once you take everything out and only put back in what you use this will simplify the process for next time. I found all of these ... Read More

Marie Kondo Mondays- Interview with a KonMari Consultant and Clothes
I had a special guest come to our home last Monday for Marie Kondo Monday. Her name is Michelle, she has an Instagram called Spark Joy Connecticut. She actually took a training course taught by Marie Kondo on becoming a certified KonMari Consultant. It is a three day course and then followed by hours of course work. I looked it up online and all of her trainings are sold-out. I did see the guidelines below- 1. Read “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” and “Spark Joy.” 2. Tidy your home using the KonMari Method™. 3. Submit after photos of your tidied home for verification. You will be ... Read More
Organizing Challenge and Printable- Organizing By Numbers
I got asked the question from our last organizing challenge, "How many of this do you have?" From cups to clothes. It really is a very interesting topic to discuss. Don't you think? I thought this entire question could be our Organizing Challenge. Because really it comes down to the big secret to organizing...OWN LESS! If you own less it is easier to organize your items. I read a quote somewhere that said the best way to organize your stuff is to get rid of most of it. Seems extreme but really the less we own the less we have to do! Anyone else notice that? My mother-in-law lives ... Read More

Lauren from @thearrowanglers her hubby and baby are living in a 300 square foot RV and she shares why they made the move from an 800 square foot home with us today. As for me I walked away from this blog post today thinking less is so much more! Pantry Makeover with Wallpaper Shelves
This post is sponsored by The Home Depot One of my best friends just moved from Texas back to Utah where they are originally from. They moved back to their old home but quickly realized how much they missed their large Texas home for their family of six. So they got a slightly larger home and this new home came with an awesome walk-in pantry. But she had never had a large walk-in pantry and it was a little overwhelming. The pantry just became a catch-all because it is so large there is room to just set things wherever. Rachel asked me when I was visiting Utah to help her organize it. It was ... Read More
Friday Favorites starts with new Shower Curtain
We have been in Yellowstone part of the week and in Utah celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends. Our new shower curtain for our main floor bathroom came in right before we left and I quickly got it up and took some pictures to share. The shower curtain has black in it rather than navy like our previous one. It flows better through the rest of our home since we have gotten rid of the navy and added more black. But oh that old shower curtain was a favorite from all of you, it got the most questions than any other thing in our house! Sadly it is discontinued. One reader knew I have ... Read More
Small Space Living Series- 110 sq ft Kitchen Tour
I am excited to have a guest feature today! Morgan from @thewhitefarmhouse is inviting us into her kitchen. I am including it as a Small Space Living "Mini" Feature. The kitchen is about 110 square feet and her entire home is 1800 square feet. It really is just an amazing before and after! They also made great use of the space by adding in a cabinet to her dining room to use as pantry storage. She totally makes it work. They are a family of four living in Michigan in this charming house. Let's go see inside... (I linked all the sources at the end of the post). The kitchen ... Read More

Back with the Small Space Living Series today! This 1143 square foot home is so well thought out and executed. You are going to get a lot of storage solutions ideas from The Ranch House Uncommon. The first time I was exposed to The Ranch House Uncommon was from Country Living Magazine. After I read the article I found Jennifer over on Instagram and fell hard for her ideas! Notice the light above the sink is ... Read More

I am going to keep this Friday Favorites short and sweet! It feels like I have a lot of home projects I want to tackle and share with you. A fun new series about small space organizing I will be starting soon. I have compiled a list of questions I received from you about living in a small home. There are so many good tips and hacks out there already but being reminded and seeing different ways of doing the same thing is a good thing! ... Read More
