I thought it would be fun to share our favorites from each week. I normally cook something new that I want to share or maybe it is a recipe we have on repeat. I also see a lot when I am shopping online for clients or have companies reach out to me with great products that I think you would be interested in. So here is what has caught our eye this past week-
We were invited us to this beach house that our friends stay at every summer for a week in East Haven, Connecticut. It is about a 45 minute drive my my home. Last year when I went I was pleasantly surprised at how charming it was! I knew this year I would make sure to take the big camera to some pictures to remember it and to share with all of you. You will love the kitchen!
My love for tea and bar carts is deep. I love to look at how others style their carts and I think I could style my tea cart every day and it would never get old. If this banquette could talk. Oh the hours that have been spent here…
my husband watching me cook me watching my husband cook dinner. When we have guests come and stay with us they could tell you the amount of time we spend in this little 10’x13′ space talking late into the night and snacking. The settee makes for a great gathering space and also feels like banquette seating. I would do this 100 times over. When people ask me my favorite part of our home I always say the kitchen. It has not always been my favorite. I shared my tips on creating a similar look in your space and what to look for when purchasing a dining table.
I get a lot of questions on my butcher block countertops. The main thing I get asked is if I like them and how they are holding up. When we remodeled our kitchen in March of 2015. I knew I really wanted to do butcher block countertops. For a couple of reasons…
I went out to dinner with some friends the other night and we were catching up on what we have been up to. One of my friends is moving so she has been de-junking. They moved from Utah when we did and she was shocked with how much stuff they brought with them that they haven’t even unboxed or used in over a year. My other friend shared that she read something online about de-cluttering and setting a timer for 15 minutes to tackle as much as you could in that time. This are my top tips for keeping your home clutter free.
