I joined a group of bloggers to shares some Easter inspiration today! Everything from recipes, home decor, eggs and baskets. I shared a Paleo and healthier version of a traditional Coconut Pineapple Cake and a Free bunting banner print out. We were cooking together in the kitchen the other night our Blue Apron meal. I had heard that Americans waste 40% of their food- I shared 5 tips to avoid food waste. One is a really yummy potato skin chip recipe-they were so good.

Just as promised- I complied all five healthy, whole-30, paleo, family loved meals into one post. I shared on my social media that I set aside a few hours of my day at the start of the week and turned on Netflix and got to chopping. The result was a weeks worth of food. Saving me that everyday stress of what to make. Come see what I made and how easy it was!
For 15 years I worked in the same design store. For years we did the same thing on Valentines. We would have a cookie exchange. With a group of talented, creative designers you know it was a good cookie exchange. No, my cookie did not win. But I did get the recipe for the big award winning cookie that would win year after year. I also linked four other Valentine cookies that would be a great addition to a cookie exchange.
I shared on my Instagram account that I made dinner for the entire week on Tuesday morning- it was a first and it for sure will not be a last! I had several people ask for me to share my sweet potato pie crust recipe- it was SO simple and basic but a game changer in flavor in our quiche. Have you ever heard of a Raclette? Or Raclette cheese? Well if no, then you were in the same boat as me. I went to bookclub last month and the host served dinner on a Raclette. It was SO much fun! I can list about 10 people I know who are are trying to eat better and are giving Whole 30 or Paleo a try with the new year. I have eaten Paleo for about 3 years. I have tried a lot of different ways of eating and I have to say that I see the BEST and fastest results and I am the happiest with myself when I eat Paleo and a Whole 30 lifestyle. I do get asked often what my favorite meals and snacks are. I thought I would share what saves me while on Whole 30 and my Paleo lifestyle. These are not sponsored. I am just that in love with them!
I have shared my love for bar carts before. I think they are probably one of the greatest piece of furniture to own. They are so versatile. One is a brownie that is made with only a few ingredients and no flour…trust me it is a fan favorite and probably my favorite treat. My daughter just turned 6! She knew exactly what type of Birthday party she wanted. She insisted on a craft and she didn’t have to ask me twice! We made the cutest “Better than Salt Dough” ornaments. I made another batch the next day and am using them on our Christmas Presents- trust me you want to see how they turned out!
I have a confession…I rarely cook. When my husband is home he does the cooking. I don’t mind cooking, I just don’t like to spend my time doing it. When I do cook I like to make things that don’t take longer than about 30 minutes, so I can move onto something else. My husband travels for weeks at a time in the beginning of the year.
