I was SO excited to see that Jen from City Farm House picked a picture from my Christmas Tour as one of her Favorite Holiday Ideas for Better Homes and Garden Style Spotters Page. She shared the above photo of my kitchen. And said this…
“Ahh, antlers! My favorite use of antlers comes from Nesting With Grace. Adding it above the vintage inspired chalkboard, in the kitchen of all places, genius! You can find antlers that animals have shed while walking through a wooded area or purchase them new, either way it’s a great styling idea for the holidays.” Oh I just love Jen, she is so sweet to recognize others.
I thought I would share with you my Christmas Favorites of 2015, Jen inspired me. I looked at a little A LOT of Christmas home tours of my blogging friends and others that popped up in my feed on Instagram. Some I couldn’t get out of my head and I wanted to document to remember them for next year! I thought you would all enjoy them too!
I love this fireplace and monochromatic look from Kindred Vintage . The creams, grays and touches of gold are such a restful look. And I love the sign above the fireplace.
This entire room just has my heart! I love it all! I love how The Wood Grain Cottage hung the banners on the tree. That is my favorite tree this year!
First of all I want that iron day bed on my deck…bad! Every time Brittany York posts a picture of her porch I remember my strong need for one! I love how she put her tree in the large galvanized bucket. Would this be a gorgeous scene to drive by?
I saw these darling dish towels at H&M and didn’t even think to do what The Lily Pad Cottage did with it above her stove. I hate when these cute dish towels get ruined, what a great idea to use them as art.
Jen’s entire Christmas home tour from City Farm House was so fun to read. It was like experiencing Christmas with her. My favorite was the unique art she did above her fireplace. It is so unexpected and a nod to modern in her cozy beach house.
Aren’t these little glass cloches magical? Rooms for Rent added just the right touch of perfection when she added the lights. Such a simple DIY for Christmas.
This entire space is so cozy and christmasy! After looking at it isn’t over the top Christmas. My Sweet Savannah just added a new christmas pillow and that darling sign. It is simple touches that make all the difference of the season. Oh and the little wrapped present is a sweet little addition.
What a great idea from Most Lovely Things to add a simple advent calendar to your banister instead of garland. She has a lot of other great advent calendar ideas, loved them all! You can see what I did this year HERE.
I know I am still moving Christmas decor around and I would be even more if I was hosting any Holiday parties. I am off the hook this year, we are going to be visiting family soon. Or pin these images for next year. Merry Christmas!
Brooke!
You are so generous! Thank you for including my advent calendar. I love seeing these spaces all decked out for the holidays! I recognize a few from before the holidays and now seeing them with lights and Christmas decor is so fun! Again, thank you sweet Brooke for inching me!
