Hello! Today is last of my Christmas Home Tours! So I thought I would combine all of them and do like a walking tour for you. I also included a 3 minute video of our Christmas Home Tour! So you can see the complete layout of our 1200 square foot cape in Connecticut. I always wonder how homes I see flow together, hopefully you do too and you enjoy this type of tour today. I am also sharing my favorite thing I did with my Christmas Decor this year and YOUR favorite thing. I am basing your favorite thing from the comments I get, the photo’s I see of you duplicating what I did or the links that you clicked on! I hope you enjoy it.
Bonus- Today I am joining Marty from A Stroll Thru Life, for her annual Christmas Blog Tour. If you came over from Cuckoo4Design, so glad you are here!
First stop is our front porch! My Favorite Thing I did this year was add THIS faux garland and THESE wreaths. I have always used real garland and this year I decided to go with faux because I do put it up mid November, so I thought that the faux might less messy and look better longer. Also the wreaths are pre-lit, love coming up to our glowing home! Your Favorite Thing– THIS basket hanging our our front door. So many of you have done this too and such a great item to use throughout the year! (See more of the exterior of our home HERE).
When you walk into our home our stairs are the first thing and our front room to the left. My Favorite Thing– The Electric Fireplace (that might always be my favorite thing, not just because it is new). And my other Favorite Thing are THESE new stockings I mixed in with our cream stockings. Love the color. Your Favorite Thing was my garland hanging on the fireplace. I have gotten so many messages on that. Sadly I can’t find it, but I am attempting a DIY of it….so stay tuned. So the next Favorite Thing from you are the Twinkle Lights (I wrote an entire blog post on them HERE).
I haven’t shown the piano wall yet. I was considering painting the piano, it needs a new paint job….but couldn’t decide on a color, so I guess we could just touch it up. My Favorite Thing over here is THIS Paint By Numbers art (I have a coupon code nestingwithgrace for 20% off). Your Favorite Thing was again the Twinkle Lights! (And I am really obsessed with THIS new plant head bust.)
If you keep walking we have a small hallway, to the left is our kitchen, straight ahead the bathroom and to the right is our master and Finn’s room! The Magic Light Trick at the end of the hall is everyones Favorite Thing….but all year!
In our bathroom I just hung a fresh wreath on the window. Simple addition, but it makes me smile!
The heart of the home, our little kitchen. My Favorite Thing and Your Favorite Thing is the garland over our window with the twinkle lights. This year I used THESE preserved boxwood garlands. Nothing like adding a little light to the area that we spend a lot of time. Another Favorite Thing from You is how I hung THIS Mini Boxwood Wreath on our subway tile, just used a little hit glue right on the subway tile! (See more of our kitchen HERE).
My favorite room in the house, our moody master bedroom. My Favorite Thing is THIS new faux fur pillow, it is super soft and I like how it completely changes the look of the bedroom with just a different pillow. Your Favorite Thing is THIS chunky knit throw. It gets a lot of comments (it is pricey so it should get all the comments 😂).
My little sweet boys’ bedroom, right across from ours. My Favorite Thing is that baby boy. Your Favorite Thing was that tree, but I got it at Home Goods last year. (See more of Finn’s room and our master bedroom HERE).
Now up the stairs to our second floor. I added a couple pieces of fresh greens to the top of our art for a festive touch.
And the bathroom upstairs got a fresh wreath too! You can spray fresh garland with THIS Wilt Pruf to help preserve it. Or even better soak it in water for 24 hours before hanging it!
Just two bedrooms upstairs. This is our family room that is also our guest room. My Favorite Thing was I added some fresh greens to our faux Christmas Tree to give it some life! And THESE wood beads are a fav! Your Favorite Thing was the fact that I put my tree in THIS basket. This tree has a long trunk so it stands up in the basest with the base. Many of you use your outdoor umbrella stand to keep your tree up! (See more of our family room and the girls room HERE).
The girls shared bedroom is extra sweet with THIS pink tinsel tree, that is My Favorite Thing and one of Your Favorite Things. And another one of both of Our Favorite Things THIS Sister, Sister Painting. (coupon code nestingwithgrace 20% off).
Check out a 3 minute video tour of our home at Christmas! But WARNING…. I am not a videographer. I did take one video with a horizontal wide angle and it just doesn’t work in our small home (I can’t get back far enough to get a wide view!) So you get a vertical video. And I took it with my phone, my camera was a little to shaky. Stuck with my favorite motto “Done is better than perfect.” I could have waited to hire someone to do it or waited until I got better and in that case you would not get a video this year! Hopefully you enjoy it and take it for my intention of sharing more of me with you! (PS- you can shop our home HERE)
PS- Just fixed it to have the girls bedroom! (I deleted the original one).

You are seriously always nailing it with the cozy factor. I can’t get over your bedroom. I just want to climb in and snuggle under the blankets. Just love your home so much.
Oh my word, your home just sparkles and I love it all. Your trees and all the twinkle lights are magical. You always amaze me at how you create such amazing living spaces in such small spaces. your home always feels huge to me. Thanks so much for joining the tours, It is always such a thrill see your home and I loved the video tour too.
HI, Brooke, I just love your cozy home and you always have the best touches for Christmas. It’s all so beautiful and festive! Merry Christmas to you!
Loving all the Christmas . Thanks so much for inviting us in! Question, where did you purchase your living room rug? I absolutely love it! Merriest of Christmases to your home from ours! 🎄
Thank you! You can find it here- https://rstyle.me/n/c4fbx3b5qwf
Hi Brooke, long-time reader. Check out @PillowCandyLLC or pillowcandy.com. As you can see, anything felt–I am your gal. I spent over a year testing every type of felt imaginable (most of the really thick felt 4 and 5 mm felt you can’t get in the US and if you can–it is insanely expensive. There is poly felt, merino felt, synthetic felt…If you can get me a closer photo of the felt, I may be able to offer tips…or recreate it. Nesting With Grace felt garlands would be big sellers!
So cozy! Love all of it. I’m curious where you got the woven blinds in the downstairs bathroom picture. It may be the same as all the other woven blinds in your house, just different lighting, but I am looking for a similar color of woven blinds for my house.
Thank you! Those shades are different- I do like the color, not cordless tho

You did a great job with the video!! I totally understand why you
Wouldn’t want to make YouTube a regular thing though! It’s so much more stressful making a video than just focusing on the content and showing us pictures! I appreciate that you switched it up in the interest of pleasing your fans. 😉 Your home is incredible! Hands down my favorite and most frequented Instagram account. I also love you and Kevin together. (When you had the little quips of him teasing you or something, I always get a good laugh) You both are so joyful and it’s a beautiful gift to share that with others! <3
Thank you Hannah! Yes, I feel like either you do youtube or a blog. Too hard in my opinion to do both. Or I would have to hire someone just for that!
But thank you so much!
Where did you get all your window treatments from? I love them all and having such a hard time finding great blinds that are a bit different and not CRAZY expensive!
Thanks! All of my window treatments are linked here- https://nestingwithgrace.com/bamboo-woven-shades-and-fabric-roman-shades-ultimate-guide/
Your home looks so festive and pretty decorated for Christmas- I just love your fun, colorful style! So much fun being on the tour with everyone this week…wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

What an absolutely enchanting home! You have made everything so cozy. The stockings are so lovely. So delighted to be on the tour with you!
Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Its amazing to see how it looks today, so warm and welcoming for Christmas (as always), compared to what it looked like when you moved in. Such a beautiful transformation. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I love the piano just the way it is. No touch up needed! I love your home and had to buy the basket on the front door!!
Thanks for such great ideas.
Thank you Janet!!
Brooke! What a lovely home! You have been blessed with such talent and have made a beautiful home for your family. I had to keep reminding myself throughout the video, “Thou shalt not covet, thous shalt not covet!” Merry Christmas to you and your family!
The epitome of cozy and festive! May I ask where you got the magnetic letters on the fridge? I am looking for some for a stocking stuffer for our first grader and love the look of these. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
