Create a Comfy Sleepover Space and Top Chick Flicks

When we lived in Connecticut we had visitors a couple times a month and often there would be way more people than our pull-out sofa could hold. We didn’t have a guest room, but made it work with a few blow up mattresses. I recently found affordable cot’s that allow you to create a guest room anywhere and a really fun sleepover space! My girls have hosted a couple sleepovers since living in our Utah home, one of the guest rooms has 3 twin beds, but there never seems to be enough beds to fit all their friends. I’ll share what I found to make it work!

The purpose of the triplet room was for guests and sleepovers. I really wanted to find a way to put that room into use. Ella was having a few friends sleep over, so we thought it was the perfect time to get the triplet room ready for lots of friends.

Fold Away Beds-

I found these fold away beds that had great reviews! I bought 2, and now we can fit 5 people in that room. Plus we can take these beds other places if needed. I really love the height of these so everyone can chat easily.
They unfold and fold up easily. They are super lightweight. And are compact! We have ours stored in the room closet but could easily fold under a bed.
The girls said the memory foam sleeping bed was really comfy and they especially loved the comfortable bedding. My sister and I also slept on the fold away beds for a weekend retreat, I was surprised how comfortable they were!

Bedding-

We did a simple Spring Bedding refresh on all the beds with a few simple changes. The main staple is this White Duvet Cover, classic look and makes it easy to switch things up through the seasons. I have in all our duvets, this Duvet Insert- Extra Warmth, my favorite insert!!! Nothing else can make your bed as full and fluffy!
I have these mattresses protectors on all the Rattan Bed (similar, mine are discontinued), making sure we protect our beds from any spills and messes. Which is perfect because snacks are a must at sleepovers!
I did these sheets sets for all the beds. I love the petite wildflowers in bright shades on the ivory colored bedding. Comes with a fitted and flat sheet and a standard pillow case. We use these pillows inserts for sleep on all our beds. Love these gingham shams for pop of color and to match the quilt.
I love a cozy duvet insert. Whenever we host guest they are always saying how cozy the beds are. We have these inserts in the extra. The 3 triplet beds have these white duvet covers and then I bought these fun new spring/summer floral duvet for the fold away beds. I love mixing these big floral pattern with the smaller flowers on the sheets.
On the triplet beds we have these quilts bunched at the bottom if anyone needs extra warmth. There are so many fun colors in that quilt style! To help the cots match the twin beds…I used these Euro shams to match the cot duvets. These are the Euro inserts I use. PS- get all the details on our Triplet Room HERE.

Top Chick Flick Movies-

My friend told me she just bought the fold away beds because her boys love to have sleepovers in each other’s rooms, how sweet is that?! There as so many fun possibilities to set up a cozy sleep space!
And don’t forget the snacks! Love this enamel tray with handle to make a snack board, I use it often when entertaining!
The hardest thing these days is finding a movie appropriate for everyone to watch. I asked on instagram what everyone’s favorite teen chick flicks are and we put a list together! I would say this list is for 13+.
