Excited to share another great E-magazine for the month of December!
You can read the entire free magazine HERE. There are so many great Holiday ideas and the cutest sugar cookie idea I want to make with my girls!

I love being able to ask some of my friends on Instagram and blogs to feature their Kids Spaces. I see inspiration daily from Anissa that always inspires me to move some things around and freshen up my home.

Anissa recently shared her daughter’s bedroom on her Instagram and blog.
I love everything that Anissa does and I knew that you would all enjoy hearing how she created her daughter bedroom as much as I would. So I asked her some questions for my section, Kids Spaces for Everything Home Magazine.

I asked Anissa how she manages all the extra toys and as we call it at my house “treasures” that kids tend to collect. She said they have a special “giveaway drawer” for treasures and also a bin inside her closet. Her daughter loves to give her friends gifts when they come over so they occasionally go through her treasures and her
daughter chooses which ones will go in the giveaway drawer. She said that her daughter is happy to give something away and I’m happy to see it go! I am in love with this idea and I plan on recreating one for my daughters. What a great way to teach kids to give and share.

If you follow Anissa or have seen her work you can spot a theme, she likes to keep her home minimal and neutral with pops of color throughout. She applied those same principles when she designed her daughter’s room but with a little more fun, Anissa added. Anissa wanted her room to represent her age, she is a sweet 7 year old girl and the room reflects that. She has lots of color in her room but if you take it all away you are left with a neutral canvas that she
can change as she gets older and her taste matures. I like that even the
wallpaper is still a neutral, but adds so much personality.

The Land of Nod and Anthropologie. Both create whimsical and unique items that she loves to incorporate into her kids room designs. She also adores all of Aedriel’s lettered signs createdfor the House of Belonging, and don’t we all! Make sure to check out the rest of the magazine. I love all of the Christmas ideas.

Especially this one that my friend Annie Anderson from Zev Joy wrote and featured the above room from AKA Design
