I am going through the list of gift guides you all requested! Today I am talking Kids because finding the just right Christmas gift for your kids, or nieces and nephews or grandkids can be so hard! I never like to ask the parent what to get, it feels like I am cheating! So I put together my kids favorite toys and gadgets. I hope this Christmas Gift Guide helps!
I wrote about each of the Kids Christmas Gift Items below….click on the image to shop or on the link!

#1- Gizmo Gadget Watch HERE
I get so many questions about this Gizmo Gadget Watch. We got it for Ella (8) last Christmas. It is for sure our favorite toy/gadget. She can call 10 people that we put into her phone. She can text those same 10 people with 10 already scripted sayings (to text those 10 people they have to have the Gizmo Gadget App on their phone, it doesn’t come thru as a regular text). She can voice text those same people. We can track her location. Ella lost her watch and we could track where it was- even though the battery was dead. It does have a step counter- (it is not very accurate). I love this Gizmo Gadget Watch because she can call her Grandma when she wants. Or we can call her and tell her we are on our way to pick her up from a friends or soccer. You do have to pay a monthly service fee- it is under $10 or I believe it is $5 if you have Verizon. I would get one early if you want it for Christmas- last year we had a hard time tracking it down.
#3- Circuit Board HERE
We bought this Circuit Board for Ella (8) last Christmas and I think it was one of her favorite things. It comes with a book to tell you where to place different Circuits to get it to do fun things- like turn on a little light, make a fan spin etc. This is under $20 and it was hours and hours of fun. She is still playing it a year later.
#4- Laugh Out Loud Jokes for Kids HERE
My girls are always telling jokes and they have the best memory to remember them! I found them that book and it is really fun. They get a kick out of it. I catch Ella studying it all the time. I found it way cheaper online than I bought it for at Target.
#5- VTech Kidizoom Action Cam, Yellow/Black HERE
We don’t own this mini “go-pro” yet. But Ella’s friend has one (who is a boy) and they had so much fun playing it with it one day. They put it on their bikes and rode around taking videos and trying to do tricks. Ella is always taking my phone to record herself doing soccer moves outside. So I thought this would be the perfect gift for her under $40!
#6- Spirograph HERE
This was a gift a year or two ago and the girls still play with it. It was tricky for them to use at first then they got the hang of it and love it!
#7- Art Supplies
Whenever someone asks what to give my kids for Christmas or Birthdays I always say “Art Supplies” or just blank white paper. They aren’t interested in coloring books- they were a couple years ago. Below are some great gifts that we have and really like-
How to Draw People Book HERE under $3
Drawing Pad HERE $3
Art Kit HERE under $15
#8- Operation Vintage Game HERE
Games you can never go wrong with. I found that vintage Operation Game and thought anyone would love to add that to their game collection. We played it the other night and it was so much fun!
#9- Mini Hatchimals Collection HERE
Lola did get a Hatchimal last year and it was a lot of fun. I found these mini Hatchimals and it is such a fun set! My kids like a lot of little mini things to play together with.
#10- Slime Kit HERE
I catch my kids writing down recipes off of the internet on how to make slime all the time. Or their friends make some and give it to them. It is really the biggest thing! So I got them each one of these kits and they thought I was the best.
I thought I would add a couple things we are getting Finn (20 months) this year. One of my good friends always helps me out.
- Hot Wheels Gift Set HERE and Carrying Case HERE
- Bruder Trucks HERE
- Finns Favorite Baby Toy (6 months and up) HERE
You can read all of my top Baby Needs HERE
If you missed my last Christmas Gift Guide you can find it HERE it is all about HER!
Bruder trucks are the best for little boys! My son has several and not one has broken. They are such quality toys and he loved playing with them. He even took them to the beach several times and they survived! Not sure if they still make them, but they used to make small keychain sized trucks with movable parts and working parts- perfect to take to restaurants to entertain while waiting for food to come.
oh yay! Thank you!! I am going to get one for Finn this year!
