New Boucle Pink Sectional- Turns out we LOVE Sectionals

I was hesitant to put a sectional in our upstairs family room, I wanted the room to feel eclectic and easy to switch up the look. But, after living with our current furniture for 3 years, and with the opportunity to move furniture to our cabin, we thought a sectional might work great in our family room! Plus I had never found one I liked until recently!! And it is in pink boucle!

Previous Family Room Set-Up

We had a green tufted sofa (which we love!), a blue velvet sofa (that one I wasn’t a huge fan of the long pillow back), two boucle chairs (we love and moved to the basement), and a “one of a kind” ottoman. The way the room was set up the chairs somehow made it so people didn’t walk in there to sit. And the table in the corner was taking up space that could be a spot to sit!

New Family Room Set-Up

We now have a pink sectional (it comes in other colors) it is so comfortable!!! We have three windows and double doors on our West facing wall. When we first moved in I was worried about blocked one of the doors, but turns out we never open it, only to move furniture. Now we just treat it like a window!

Since we moved the other chairs to our basement, we got these swivel chairs that can easily turn to watch the TV!
Right now we have some Christmas decor set-up and a spot for our Christmas Tree, which normally our Audrey Ficus will go. But it is feeling so cozy!
Our sectional is about 10’x10′ (we have two armless chairs, one left arm, one right arm, one corner).
Really LOVE it! We fit so many people on the sectional on Thanksgiving. We also put the TV directly across from it, so football watching was easy for everyone to see! I will share that area next!
I will be back when Christmas is all down for a full update on the room!
If you missed it we got a sectional for our basement too! All the furniture went to our cabin (it has two family sitting rooms).
