When we remodeled our house I think I had to buy close to 50 lights, it was a lot to pick at once. And I honestly liked all of them. I thought I liked the light that I had over our kitchen sink. But I found a different one that I LOVE! You will have tell me what you like better! I linked a lot of really great flush mount lights if you are in the market or want to change things up! Drawer Organizing with The Home Edit Favorites
I hope I am not alone, and you have messy drawers in your home too?? I actually took a poll on instagram and 90% of you do, 10% of you are living our organized goals. I had two drawers in our kitchen that needed to be decluttered and organized. First step was to remove everything. Sort similar items. Then get serious, do you really need 50 wooden spoons, multiple lemon juicers and can openers? Worth the effort, because I keep opening the drawers just to look inside, they make me so happy! Isn't it just interesting how an organized drawer can give you such peace?? Thank you Walmart for ... Read More

Ella’s Bathroom Open Shelves with Beadboard Wallpaper
Our girls have a Jack and Jill Bathroom. They each have their own vanity and they share the toilet and shower. It has worked out really great for the past 5 months we have lived here. No arguing over needing to get ready for school. In Ella's bathroom she has a little nook that we knew would be the perfect spot for open shelves. We finally got around to installing them and finishing her space. We even hung some beadboard wallpaper that looks like the real thing! Thank you The Home Depot for sponsoring this post I rounded up some favorite things from The Home Depot that are similar to ... Read More
Game Room Basement- Utah Ranch Home
Oh boy. This basement has really seen some changes! It went from a dark basement to something light and bright. We made the windows larger and we also moved the stairs! The flow of the space works much better now. This basement is one of the favorite places to be in the house. I especially love this for our kids, friends and family. We didn't have a basement in our Connecticut home and while we really didn't miss having it in that house we knew we would want a big basement in Utah, with so much family and friends around. Basement Before- I loved that curved rock wall, it stayed, we ... Read More
Girls Dormer Teen Bedroom Makeover

They moved for a better location to a 1990's home that needs some updating to match her families fun personality! When Walmart.com reached out to partner, Kevin and I decided to gift this makeover to her oldest daughter Naomi. Thank you Walmart.com for sponsoring this post Girls Pre-Teen Bedroom Before- Girls Pre-Teen Bedroom After- The bed is still yellow but went from a twin to a ... Read More
Friday Favorites- Console, Dining Table and Island Decor
Sharing some decor styling on a console, dining table and island today! Plus some of our favorite things we have gotten recently. We have this space in our family room that felt like it needed something. I was happy to have found the demi-lune console that works great in a high traffic space. Of course it got a plant and put it in a bust (I found local), the sun hits it perfectly each day for a few hours. As it was snowing outside this window I set up a simple spring table setting. I love decorating with glass jars, they look great all year, just by swapping out what's ... Read More
Butlers Pantry and Plant Room- Utah Ranch Home
The previous home owners had their washer and dryer in the room next to the kitchen, which is right off the garage. We decided we wanted our washer and dryer in our bedroom along with two other areas in our home. I just didn't want to have clothes out in a space that is heavily walked through, laundry can get crazy here and I didn't want everyone to see my underwear or a pile of dirty clothes as they came into the kitchen. Most importantly we really wanted a counter space we could use for kitchen overflow and for, well, my potting station for plants. Laundry Room/ Mud Room Before- ... Read More
