Common wallpaper questions-
Q– Can wallpaper go on top of textured walls? A– It depends on the wallpaper, some wallpaper will tell you in the description. Try to order a sample to test it out first! I recommend using a pattern to disguise the texture.
Q– Does temporary wallpaper damage your walls? A– In all of my experience, no! But each wallpaper manufacture is different. So check with them.
Q- How do you measure for wallpaper? A- This online calculator is very helpful, you can find HERE. Most online calculators don’t factor in the pattern repeat (that one does). Be aware that sometimes when you order wallpaper it could only come in a double roll. So if you are doing a small section you might not want to do a wallpaper that only comes in a double roll. If you have a lot of weird angles and cut outs it might be worth it hire someone to hang the wallpaper, and a lot of times if they are going to hang it they will come measure the space for you.
Different Types of Wallpaper-

Wallpaper Application Tools-

2- Razor Blades– I had a professional wallpaper installer tell me he goes through a pack of razor blades whenever he wallpapers a room. I always grab a new one when I make a cut! There is a spot to discard razor blades in this with the new razor blades.
3- Smoother Tools & Craft Knife– I also use a rag to smooth wallpaper and wipe down any extra paste. But this set is a must!
4- Wooster Paint Brush– angled brush for applying wallpaper paste in tight spots
5-Extendable Roller– makes it really easy to apply wallpaper paste in hard to reach spots
6- Light Switch Cover– apply wallpaper to this light switch cover so it blends in
7- Plug Cover–same idea as the light switch cover
8- Reusable Paint Drop Cloth– you can get plastic drop cloths, or these are nice to have to roll wallpaper paste on wallpaper and not get it everywhere
9- Mini Rollers– this is my favorite size to roll on wallpaper paste, it fits the paper better!
