Jennifer from City Farm House Blog who is ranked one of the top 10 blogs by Better Homes and Garden, asked me to share a tour of my home for her blog. Such on honor to be featured on her inspiring blog. This is what she had to say- "Every once in a while I will scroll down Instagram and find a feed that I get lost in. You just know when you have found someone who’s style is 100% authentic. A few months ago, while sipping my morning coffee I found Brooke from Nesting With Grace. I was blown away!!! I am beyond thrilled to have her here sharing her stunning home & story with ... Read More

Connecticut Front Room Tour
Welcome to our Connecticut Home. We are from Utah and love the fact that we can call it a beach house. We painted our front door in Hale Navy from Benjamin Moore. We have pops of navy through out our entire home, I like the front door to set the tone for what to expect in the rest of the home. A little touch of nautical. This is the house BEOFRE we bought it. This is AFTER. We painted the blue paneled walls right when we moved in. We went with Cloud Cover from Benjamin Moore, I loved how it turned out. I just wanted something very neutral, not gray or yellow. We ... Read More
Connecticut Bathroom Remodel
We moved from Utah to Connecticut in January of 2015. The home is a Cape Cod style home that was built in the 1950's. Needless to say the bathrooms needed a major remodel. I love the charm of this built in armoire and it adds so much storage that we need. This is the before and after. I couldn't even handle the before for the few short weeks we had it. It is actually the main bathroom on the main level. It didn't to function a lot better than it was! The previous sink was a pedestal. The bathroom was small but could handle a larger vanity. I really wanted a piece of furniture to go ... Read More
Cadbury Entry
Welcome to my home on Cadbury Drive in Utah. This console table from Redford House once was red and I painted it in Old White chalk paint from Annie Salon. I had started using chalk paint when I painted my antique piano in Paris Gray (you can read about that here ). It was so easy to use that I started to paint everything white! I found the ottomans at a second hand store that were leather and I made simple slip covers for them. When I see milk glass it has to come home with me. This vintage milk crate was a gift from one of my good ... Read More
Cadbury Basement
Little tour of our walk-out basement in Utah we built in 2008. I love how light the walk-out made our basement and that we could easily entertain and walk right out to the backyard. One thing I didn't love was that when you were upstairs we were far away from the backyard to watch the kids play, it is a trade off. I used a large 8x10 rug in a bright color since my sectional and carpet were neutral to add a pop of color and ground it all. Rugs add so much to a space, and are essential (Yes, even on carpet, I get asked that all ... Read More
