Bedroom Makeover- Dark Furniture to Bright White with Wallpaper Accent Wall
I am so, so, soooooo very excited to show you this bedroom makeover! This room belongs to neighbors and good friends of mine. We took their room from being dark and cramped to light and bright! Best part- we kept ALL the same furniture! We painted the dark wood bedroom set all white, did a little DIY to the headboard and wallpapered the main focal point wall with temporary wallpaper. It did NOT happen overnight. It took many hours to paint the furniture and I will share the details. And many hours on my part installing the wallpaper. But, the wallpaper really makes the room feel complete ... Read More
12 of the Most Toxic Things in your Home and How to Change It!
I decided to finally write a post that I have been wanting to write about the toxic things in our homes. Two women who I met at different occasions and started talking to influenced this post and me! I have learned a lot from them. One is a scientist and one is a breast cancer survivor. I asked them what the most toxic things are in our homes were and what the number one thing was they would change! I shared it all in this blog post. I want to first say that I am in no-way perfect in any of these. But I am trying and making myself informed. I am not judging anyone who has any of these ... Read More

I am also joining 15 other bloggers to share their Christmas ... Read More

Twinkle Lights- All My Sources For Strand Lights! #Hygge
If you have followed me for any time at all then you would know how much I love #hygge. It is so much more important to me to focus on the feeling in your home more than anything else. And if your home is organized then you will love that hygge feeling. If you aren't sure what hygge is (pronounced hue-guh not hoo-gah). It is a Danish word used when acknowledging a feeling or moment, whether alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary as cozy, charming or special. We went and saw Frozen on Broadway- SO good! All of us loved it. But there is a song they added called ... Read More
