I have always believed in the “power of wallpaper” and love to see it in your homes because it means you love it too!! I spent the whole Christmas break wallpapering for friends and family. Okay.. not the ENTIRE break, but I did do a lot of it. I was yet again reminded why I love it. With all of the great temporary options, there has never been a better time to go for a wallpaper transformation!! It’s such an awesome way to create big, cozy style with minimal effort (and budget!).
We recently transformed the girl’s room and our basement staircase with wallpaper, for example. When we first moved in, I knew that I would add boldness to this smaller space by letting the walls sing!
Have you been gathering the courage to take on a wallpaper transformation in your home? Allow me to inspire you with these wallpaper transformations from my Facebook group that will blow you away!

Also common wallpaper questions I get-
Q– Can wallpaper go on top of textured walls? A– It depends on the wallpaper. A lot of you said you have done it with success. I recommend using a pattern to discus the texture. And try to order a sample to test it out first!
Q– Does temporary wallpaper damage your walls? A– In all of my experience, no! But each wallpaper manufacture is different. So check with them!
Q– Why use temporary wallpaper? A– It require no wallpaper paste. Very easy to install and remove, just peels right off!
Q- Where do you find wallpaper? A- Lots of places! I have THIS blog post with a lot of sources!

Idk if you have already talked about it somehwhere but im new to your blog (which inlove btw!) Im feelong like wallpaprr may be the answer to all my problems but all my walls are like oramge peel textured, would it will work?
I did mention it above….It depends on the brand. But many have used it with success on texture!! If you can try to get a sample of it to test!
Thank you for sharing our space, Brooke! I love seeing so many inspiring before and afters!
This is so inspiring! I’ve been very hesitant using wall paper but I think I’m going to give it a try.
I have some temeporary striped wallpaper that is printed vertically and I want to hang it horizontally in my son’s desk area in his room to make it look larger. Am I in over my head by hanging it horizontally instead? Or should I just stick with hanging it vertically in the direction it was originally printed? Thanks! Loved the post and all of your projects!
I would do it the way you want to hang it! I have used a stripe both ways!
Love this! I used to be a professional wallpaper hanger! I tried using wallpaper that simulates beadboard. It was looking great until my cat thought it was great for her claws. Needless to say I had to replace it. I would love to share pics. Beth
