My sister-in-law just had a new baby (the cutest baby!!!) and we thought it would be fun to give their bedroom a makeover. Parents need a sanctuary for optimal rest and relaxation, to then be able to pour into everyone else! Their primary bedroom was nice, but it was missing that cozy feeling, which can be harder to achieve with really tall vaulted ceilings. We painted their walls dark, added a light fixture, swapped their rug for a rug that complimented the new colors and added the softest bedding. Wait until you see the changes!

+Added a fluffy quality organic duvet insert that is cooling in the summer and warming in the winter, it is light and fluffy! This is an investment piece that you will have for well over 20 years!!! Just change the duvet cover.
+I used another go-to item, this linen duvet cover with the prettiest flange.
+And I always do this cooling mattress pad, which is 80% cotton!
+Another way to add a pop of color is with a blanket at the end of the bed, which they can remove for the summer months. I did this velvet blanket in the color thyme.
