When we bought this 1970’s fixer upper there was a really small bathroom off the garage. Basically the size of an airplane bathroom. Now it’s double the size 2.5″x9′, we just took out a closet we didn’t need. The bathroom is still small, and still has wallpaper! I fell in love with the (new) wallpaper we used for this bathroom instantly! It matches the colors and feel that I want for our home, just wish it was in a more prominent spot! It is like a hidden gem in our home-a sweet surprise when you go to the bathroom. It works perfect, right off our green kitchen and mustard pantry.

Bathroom Before-

I only had a video of the before, so I took a screen grab. Notice the wallpaper?? The previous home owner and I would have been friends! We removed the closet that was next to this bathroom to make it larger. We didn’t need the closet, because we added the green built-in lockers that we use for coats (you can see in the photo below).

I LOVE this wallpaper so much!!! It is from Rifle Paper Co, in the black metallic and gold. It was really easy to install! (Cutting boards are vintage, find similar HERE).

Really hard to take photos of the after in here. Wish I could invite you all over to see it in person!

The cabinet is actually one large door that I had our cabinet designer make to look like three separate drawers. All our custom cabinetry was built by Innovative Cabinetry Design (they did such a good job!!!). We had the cabinet painted in Farrow & Ball Bone.

The light fixture was a happy accident! I had ordered an extra one for our basement and ended up loving it, so I got another one for this bathroom. We also have the white version in Ella’s bedroom. If you like something it is okay to repeat it!

Countertops are the same as our kitchen surround in Soapstone Black, P-19. I just drew on the wall how high I wanted the backsplash to come up and look, and they made a template for it! Faucet is from HERE and cabinet hardware HERE.

Our toilet is a TOTO, we did the same in all the bathrooms and really like them. A toilet brush and plunger are a must for every bathroom! No need to carry that all over the house when you clean or for an emergency:).

I have had the brass hanging frame for awhile, here is a similar frame. I put this print “Just living is not enough” inside and ripped the edges so it fit inside! Hung it with this hook.

Hope you enjoyed the bathroom tour!

Ahh!! The light is just so fun. It reminds me of the plug in, hanging one you had in your kitchen when you first moved to Connecticut. I have been in love with that kind of lamp ever since. This bathroom packs such a punch. It’s beautiful. đđ

Beautiful! I loooove how dark and moody it is. Such a refreshing change. I am sure itâs tough to photograph but do you have any more info on the flush mount ceiling light? đ
