Remember this series I started about month ago? I work my way into a home and show you some of my favorite things! I will give you a refresh of the series- It kind of reminded me of a show I used to love to watch “Take Home Chef” with the cutie pie Curtis Stone. My favorite part of that show was peeking inside homes! Especially the kitchen’s, because kitchen are my favorite. Today I am taking you inside a friends home, who is also a client. I have been in Utah for the past two weeks, so I stopped by her home and took some pictures to share with you!
Josie and her husband built their home in Utah about 3 years ago. They did such a great job. They have done the hard part and I have gotten to pop in and help when I am in town with the accessories and some furniture. This is their forever home. Josie said that they wanted to build this home to be able to host Thanksgiving for their family and have all of their extended family and friends over for parties I love their purpose and intentions with this home.
I do love a big great room for entertaining like Josie has. We used to have a space like this with our Utah home, they really are the best floor plans for families. I am going to stop talking and let the pictures speak for themselves! I included links to some of her great pieces at the end of this post and the paint they used on the walls and trim.

Loved this home! Where did you find the two boards you used on the kitchen counter? ( the slate one and the big marble round one)? I bet you miss Utah so much. Do you think you will ever get to move back?
