So happy it is Friday. My husband has been out of town for the past week and I am ready for him to return. I did find time to share something I love, my favorite finds from the week. Like this gorgeous patio! I shared two books I read and loved, what I got for Mothers Day, something my friend does that surprised me…maybe you do it too? And a few other favorite things.
I have five QUICK design tips for you. These are five things I design by. I had someone make a comment on this room and it goes right along with the WHY I picked my design tips.
Also shared my favorite things right now and what we made the other night- with casual pictures to go along with it.
Happy Friday friends!
I was invited to preview all the Summer changes at Serena & Lily in Westport CT. I typically wouldn’t share pictures of a store on my blog, but it doesn’t feel like a store. It feels like I toured the most charming home everrrrrr. The store is in an old historical home that they restored and it is pretty fun to see the newest and greatest things in season right now in home decor. So come take a tour with me and I also asked two of my favorite bloggers to share what their new favorite home decor pieces that they added to their homes- one is a vintage find and one is an entire gorgeous look!
This Easter Sunday it is supposed to be high 70’s in CT and we are thrilled! I am sharing some Easter Recipes that caught my eye this past week while planning our Easter menu, a new way we tried for coloring our Easter eggs and some other favorite things from the past week including a book I read and something for my front porch.
I am in love with this front door and those topiaries! Getting excited to decorate our porch. I shared some of my favorite doormats- I have been obsessed with finding the perfect one for our front door. I also shared a favorite recipe we tried this week, an amazing home tour- the exterior is just perfect and a few of my other favorite things from the week. Happy Friday!
Oh I have a fun Friday Favorites for you! I took a trip to Target and picked up a few things- could have bought way more! I shared my favorite pillows from there, some under $20. Also come see the Top Trending Easter Pins on Pinterest, a sweet home tour, one of my favorite ways to decorate around the tv and a few more of my favorite things from the past week. I could also use your feedback on my Easter post coming up.
I took this photo one year ago today. I can remember how happy those cherry blossoms made me feel- spring was on its way! I shared a few things that inspired me this past week from probably the nicest and best looking pantry I have ever scene to the Easter baskets I am getting that I plan on using everyday too!
Happy Friday everyone! It is snowing outside my window right now in Connecticut on this Friday morning. I was supposed to have our banquette started today- but the snow has delayed it:(
Pop over and see all of my favorite things from this past week and what has inspired me. From a new design book, new flavor in my favorite drink and a home tour that is full of inspiration!

Wayfair just shared a mini home tour and interview over on their website and I linked it on my Friday Favorites Post. Along with a picture of my husbands nightstand (very intriguing, right?) thoughts of painting our piano, my favorite home decor Instagram account and a few other things over on the blog today. Its a quick read to kick off this long weekend!
Rather than searching the internet for shoes I search for dish towels. Weird. But they make the greatest gifts, I love to keep them on-hand to wrap fresh baked bread in. Come see the rest of my favorites right now! Happy Friday!
I shared on my Instagram account that I made dinner for the entire week on Tuesday morning- it was a first and it for sure will not be a last! I had several people ask for me to share my sweet potato pie crust recipe- it was SO simple and basic but a game changer in flavor in our quiche. Come get the recipe and see what I ordered my hubby for Valentines!
