Montauk
We took a short day trip to Montauk with the kids to a fun pumpkin patch. Kevin and I had actually went to Montauk for our anniversary in September. I should do a blog post on all the fun things to do and see there! We had the BEST Lobster Bisque and Lobster Roll at Lunch (famous restaurant!) …we couldn’t stop thinking about it! So we had to come back!

Since we were headed to a pumpkin patch, I knew it might be a good opportunity for some family photos! I brought my tri-pod that folds up pretty small and set it up for some quick photos.

First photo was in front of the East Hampton Windmill.

Second photo was at Hanks Pumpkin Patch! Such a fun Pumpkin Patch. We snuck off to an area that nobody was around and set-up our trip-pod again and took a photo. We make sure to take a photo after the kids have played and done activities then take the photo before they get a treat 🙂

What You Wanted to Know This week:
I have been getting lots of questions on my clothes. I bought some new things before we went to Texas and a couple new dresses with hopes of taking family photos. One of my favorite places to find clothes is Bohme, to me they look like Anthropologie clothes, but half the price! Below are some of my favs and I have a coupon code for 15% off NESTING15….

Camel Dress // Wide Leg Pants // Pintuck Top // Bar Ring // Turquoise Ring // Hoodie with buttons // Floral Dress // Panama Hat // Leopard Sneakers // Tie-Die Pullover Set
Front Porch Tips

- Don’t forget to paint screen or storm door to match your front door! I personally think they look best the same color as the door itself. I wrote a blog post all about painting your screen door and so many of you have followed my lead! I LOVE seeing your front porch updates!!!
- Add height. So often we have the height of our door paired with a floor-level pot with a cute plant. Don’t forget the middle space! An urn can be good for adding different height or even just a taller planter. Ask yourself “if this plant was inside, would I want it on a table?”
Most Asked About Things-
Dog food/ Traeger pellet Storage– I bought these containers for inside and I didn’t end up having a good space for them. So I moved them outside for dog food and traeger pellet storage and they are perfect! (Just don’t mix up the two!)

Spray Nozzles– So many people want this link! These are the tops I use to turn a Health-Ade Kombucha bottle into a spray bottle! I use Thieves to clean everything, making cleaning toxic-free and eco-friendly.

Pumpkin Lantern- Halloween decor is upon us and although I don’t get too spooky, nothing says fall like a cute pumpkin lantern with a diffuser in it (I drill a hole in the back for the cord). I recommend the Anthro Autumn blend (4 drops, Christmas Spirit, 4 drops Bergamot, 3 drops Clove, 3 drops grapefruit) everyday! Learn more about switching out those candles for yummy essential oils, here.
Hope you have a great weekend!!! I have a lot of new makeovers coming the rest of the month we have been working on and can’t wait to share!
