I have been wanting to organize these three areas in our home. One I just completed and two of them I did a couple months ago, but didn’t share here! The area I just organized was under our bed with nice storage bins, our laundry room closet and our game cabinet. Excited to share the good things I found!

1- Under the Bed Storage
I don’t like to see random things under the bed, but it is such a waisted space to not put items there. I found these felt storage boxes, created the perfect solution! Easy to retrieve from under the bed but keeps the area looking tidy and neutral. Yay a whole new world of storage! PS- get details on our bedroom HERE.
I can fit about 6 sweatshirts, or 3 sets in each of these felt storage boxes, linked other options below…

2- Game Storage
Our game cupboard was a mess! So many games didn’t fit in their original box and were hard to stack. I ordered cases in the thin size and thick size for our games. Most games fit in the thin size, I just ordered a 10 pack in each size because I wasn’t sure what would work and it was a good mix! Then we used this label maker to label all the games.
Yes, the boards fit in these cases in both the thin size and thick size. If your game has a lot of pieces then you will want the thick size. Also these clear little bags are great to hold all the pieces.
This summer we went on our annual Bear Lake trip and we didn’t have our favorite family game, Nertz. We all assumed the other sibling was bringing it. I found this awesome card organizer so we will just grab that for vacations, then nothing gets forgotten! Plus it helps keep out game cupboard nice and clean. A spot for everything!
3- Closet Shelf Dividers
When I found these acrylic shelf dividers I knew they would be the perfect solution for the jeans and sweatshirts in Lola’s closet! It keeps her clothes stack from falling over. I LOVE them!!! A few of you told me that you use them in your pantry to keep things organized.
Check out other closets we have organized HERE.
4- Laundry Shelf Storage
We have tall cupboards above my washer and dryer. My favorite organizing item in them is this acrylic lazy susan! It’s tall so it can hold a lot but I can just spin to find what I need. Like dryer balls and lint rollers. Different compartments to keep items in place. We also have these see-through bins so I can clearly see what’s inside (forces us to stay organized, ha!) and then just easy to pull down. I have these glass jars for Molly Suds Whitener and for my DIY Scent Booster, find in laundry highlight on @nestingwell. PS- favorite cleaning products HERE!
5- Battery Storage
This is a nice new find for us. We have a drawer that we keep batteries but this is such a nicer way to store. This battery case makes it easier to identify which batteries you have in stock, which you need to replenish, and what’s available. I love that it also includes a removable battery tester (no batteries required) to help you see if batteries are still good! Smart!
On a blog post I shared more drawer organization HERE. We used 6 Piece Kitchen Drawer Edit and the 8 Piece Beauty Drawer Edit. PS- find favorite supplements HERE.
6- Spice Drawer
I used to store my spices in an upright cupboard, which meant rifling around and trying to find what I need, and usually I didn’t have enough of the spice to make my recipe because I didn’t even realize it was almost out! I really have loved having my spices in these cute glass jars but really loving having them in a drawer on these racks. Makes cooking so much easier when I can quickly find what I need and also see when I am low on something. (Make sure to measure your drawer height, inside my drawer is 3 1/2″)
7- Pans and Cutting Board Organizer
This heavy duty sliding rack organizer is a great space saver! I like how I can pull it out to grab what I need. Because it holds everything upright you don’y have to stack items and dig through the pans to find the item you want (PS- these oven pans are our favorite!). Kevin also added that shelf (I need to paint the edges) we had a lot of empty space above the oven pans, so the shelf maximized the space.
8- Pantry Organizers
I shared all the details and what we used to organize our pantry on this blog post! Our pantry cupboards are 9′ wide x 12″ deep (inside they are 10.5″). Our green pantry cupboards are painted in Bancha from Farrow & Ball, painted and custom built by Innovative Cabinetry Design. See how we maximized it below…
The trick is measuring your space to see what bin size you need to fit front to back and side to side. Maximizing your storage. For instance, can you fit 2 big bins or do you need 3 smaller ones for the shelf and items you have. We really like these storage bins to easy see and find items. Clear storage also, helps everyone put things back if you can see what else is in the container.
9- Jewelry Storage-
In my new home, I am able to have some jewelry storage in my bathroom vanity drawers. These jewelry trays are what I have in my drawers, so nice to have a spot for it all. I also found this darling jewelry box that are cute enough to leave out on a counter. Or that you can place away on shelving.
The top of the tray lifts off, and has a big open space for more jewelry, plus the box itself is such cute decor. Or the jewelry tray idea below are awesome if you have extra drawer space.
10- Bathroom Drawers and Cupboards-
I shared all the details and what we used to organize our pantry on this blog post! The biggest trick was adding stacking bins with pullout drawers to the cupboard area under the sink. This doubled the storage space!
