It is almost that time of year where we start to swap out our summer clothes to fall (bring on the layers, and transition our front porches to a cozy, inviting fall scene! I shared our early fall porch the other day on this post. Yesterday I added some real pumpkins to my tower (same tower I did last year too for pumpkins), some lights and a large plastic pumpkin that I made look like a warty ceramic pumpkin. Check it all out in today’s post. Also linking up some of my fall outfit finds from Walmart!
Thank you Walmart for sponsoring this post
Here is our porch all decked out with pumpkins and ready to greet guests! We are hosting an event in our backyard on September 30th, so it is nice to have this all ready! Still waiting for our porch light, so I added these string lights from Walmart.com, they look so festive!
I made over this orange plastic pumpkin to look like a ceramic warty pumpkin. First paint the pumpkin, I used the color Bone from Farrow and Ball. Then mix a little flour in with the paint and paint the pumpkin with the flour/paint mixture to give it that warty look! So easy to do. You could even mix dirt in with dark paint! Finish spray with water based polyurethane. Found this 14″ pumpkin on Walmart.com and it plugs in!
Here are some of my favorite finds from Walmart.com! They are are all quality pieces that layer so well! My favorite is the $12 mountain tee, the $28 cardigans, in both colors, and the boots! The boots are great prices, the pair I had on in the photos were boots from last season that I still love from Walmart.

😍😍😍 This always starts my favorite time of year of watching you decorate for the seasons. Even with a home under construction, you bring magic and warmth to the spaces you touch. This is beautiful and so festive, Brooke.
